I am having a tough time deciding which of 4 excursions to take in Samana. It is very time consuming to comb the roll calls for people who might still answer, and there are dozens of threads on Samana, but not necessarily about this tour. So far I have read nothing about Las Terrenas or the tour.
It sounds easy enough, categorized as a 1 for activity level, short enough 3 1/2 hours. In what kind of vehicle are you transported? I can't find Juan Vicente on a map. Says it's a photo op and I'd like to know what the vista is. I want to know if the beach stop is beautiful. We have an hour there to eat/drink, I see. The trip to Playa Rincon seems too strenuous for my arthritic neck in a 4 1/2 hr tour called "Devil's Mouth & Playa Rincon" but from what I've read the road is so bad that that's why they usually go via boat! Thanks |

Here is a link to my review from March.
http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=732815 We were thoroughly impressed with this tour and my kids said it was one of the highlights of our cruise.
