Has anyone stayed here? Got a room off priceline for $90.00 total and I think that was good.

We stayed at the property 2 years ago. A very nice hotel, geared toward the high end traveller. It is located just off of the downtown area and is an approximate $15 - $20 cab ride from South Beach. There is no beach near the property but they do have a small, but nice, pool area.
Food and drinks are pricey there. Expect to pay $10 or so for a continental breakfast, upwards of $15 - $17 for the buffet. The hotel is next to Bayside Marketplace which is essentially a nice outdoor mall type area. There is a Hard Rock Cafe and Bubba Gumps restarant as well as other places to eat at Bayside. We ate some of our meals at Bayside to save a few $$ for the cruise. I would request a room facing Biscayne Bay. You can see the port from the upper floor rooms.

We stayed at the Intercontinental about a year ago. It is a very nice hotel. Great pool area! The workout room is also nice...you can see the ships docked out the window. It is walking distance to Bayside Marketplace. I would still not recommend walking back at night...we had a very scary experience with young men following us. We found a nice restaurant at Bayside for breakfast. Pay attention to phone charges and extras.
