Has anyone used bookit.com to make hotel or air reservations? Wondering if this site is reliable. Thanks for any info

Two or three things stand out.

NO travel agency number-IATA, CLIA, etc. etc. on any info I could find. The ARC and IATA numbers are on the Credit card authorization form, but that form is NOT readily available on the surface

NO info/FAQ about air bookings. There is FAQ about hotels.

You have to fill out and fax a credit card authorization form. NOT the norm for a US based company. Credit cards are usually accepted either over the phone or online.

There are NUMEROUS complaints. Google search turned up quite a few.

I sure wouldn't book with this company if for no other reason than they are not sophisticated enough to allow online booking with my credit card.

Thanks for all your info. I have used ppl oppinion on this site and it has always been so helpful. Not planning on using them. Any other sites that have great rates?
