Cool Just returned from the fascination 3 day

This was by far the worst and best cruise I have ever been on. This was my 3rd Carnival. The worst part was not Carnivals Fault my any mean I have learned a very important lesson no more 3 day cruises. have never been on a cruise where there were so many drunk and rude people. Now that covers the worst part.... Let's cover the best part...... We have beautiful weather and it was a nice smooth sailing. We had a great wait staff in the diningroom and very entertaing table mates. The food was fair to great it just depends on you taste. The spa we had a great time there too. It was on the small side compared to the Triumph. We shoped for a while in Nassau bought watches and checked out the strawmarket. Then we went over to Atlantis. I love the fish I thought DD was going to pass out when the Manta ray swam by. We went in to the casino. Found a nickel machine sat down put in a $20 and 20 minates later walk out with $192.00 it was well worth the $4.00 dollar drive over to walk around and just check things out.

Our last day was a sea day. Slept late ate walked around the ship. I entered the slot tournament and won it was the highlight of the whole trip. I received $500 dollars but even more important I won my 1st 24k gold palstic ship.

All in all it was a goodtrip as long as you overlooked the rude people.

I have already book a 7 day for next august to alaska with carnival.

Question

So sorry to hear about the disruptive crowds! We're booked for the 4-night to the W. Carib., sure hope we don't encounter the same problem.

Other than that, how did you like the ship? We've only sailed on HAL, so not sure what to expect, but really looking forward to it!

Default Love the Fasination 4day

We have done the four day fasination trip both in Jan. 02 and Jan 03. My wife hates water and boats. So for our aniversary in Jan. 02 I just told her to pack for a week and get ready to leave home next friday. I never told her where we were going. We drove from st. Louis to Miami and got a hotel on Sunday night in Miami. She thought this was where we were spending the next four days in Miami. On Monday we got in the car and checked out of the hotel (she still had no idea) and I drove to the pier in Miami. I parked the car and said see that big boat were leaving today for a four day cruise. She was not happy and I really thought she was not going to get on. Our daughter called her on her cell phone and convinced her to try it. Well guess what? She had the time of herlife. It was 90 degrees in Cozumel and 10 degrees in St. Louis. We really had a great time.We really like the two ports of Key West and Cozumel. We loved visiting Harry Trumans summer home in Key West. We booked again for Jan 03 months in advance. Then we had a horrible Dec. 3rd with our home burning to the ground at 2:30 in the morning. We saved not one thing except the car. But we went cruising anyway, the docs arrived on Dec. 4th the day after the fire and kinda cheered us up. We went and bought two suit cases and a few clothes and off we went. Cruising is great place when you homeless!! Ha ha
This year we are going again on Jan. 2nd this time on a seven day cruise on the Conquest out of New Orleans. We are both hooked on cruising maybe Alaska next Summer.

FlaHagan

This boat was in great shape the crew was always cleaning. Lots of people were at the stars lounge at night. We did not catch the shows but some of our table mates did and they liked them. You will like the 4 day western we have done it before and had a great time.
