"Waitlisted" Dining Time

First, let me say that I know that a dining time is only a request. Ours was for the late seating and always showed as that on the reservation. When I looked at it today, it says "waitlisted". Does this mean they did assign the times and we didn't get it? Or are they just using a new term for "request"?

I think they're just adding waitlist to all the requests because we're Platinum and have confirmed dining time and our docs for tomorrow's cruise say waitlisted also. For those that are not Platinum I think it just emphasizes that it is just a request.

This is something that has been happening to all cruisers. There are at least 2 other threads about this subject if you want to read more about it.....right now they are all 3 on the first page so should be pretty easy to find. :)
