Rental for Six - Van or two jeeps?

Which would be better for six middle-aged adventurous women. The jeep definitely sounds like more fun...but does it makes sense to rent two vehicles? Any suggestions?

If you are planning on touring the island, see my post and rent two jeep/awd vehicles.

Just some driving around and then onto to the beach? One van is fine.

No need for transport if just shopping, since all is within walking distance of the ship.

If you are only planning on going to a hotel and hanging out on the beach without any driving around, a taxi or two (van taxis are readily available) is by far less expensive than a vehicle rental!
