Hi: I just got back from cruising on Allure and notice an authorized but not posted charge on credit card I provided to RCL, described as RCL ALLURE NON DCC WEYBRIDGE, authorized on day of embarkation of $138.51, that I don’t recognize. I paid in cash all on board expenses on last day of cruise at guest services. I had prepaid entire cruise total including gratuity in Canadian dollars before sailing. When I called RCL, they said they never posted this amount and don’t recognize it either and to dispute it. My credit card company said it’s authorized not posted and should disappear soon as could be some kind of deposit RCL holds on cards similar to what hotels do, except the deposits hotels hold disappear within few days. Can anyone tell me if they saw similar charges and when these disappear from card statements? It’s been over 2 weeks since I sailed and charge still showing . I have sailed RCL before and never saw these types of charges so confused.

Can anyone take a guess if this social gathering with planned activities will have more people in the 21-25 age category? My 22 year old daughter is interested in attending but only if more people are ages 21-25!

Is the Mama Mia show really 2.5 hours?

Someone on our roll call alerted us the show reservations were available and I was able to reserve in the website as the APP wasn’t working at first.

I haven’t cruised since 2016, but really enjoyed the vegetarian Indian food and appreciated the special Indian vegetarian food cooked for the family in the MDR. The head chef would ask us what kind of Indian dishes we would like and my 90 year old father would start listing popular dishes served in restaurants and we actually got those dishes most of the time. We were surprised when cruisers on adjacent tables would show an interest in trying the dishes and we loved to share. It was little spicy for me but my dad loved it (probably because he labels my cooked Indian dishes as “hospital food” ! I hope I get good vegetarian food, including Indian food on the upcoming cruise on the Allure.

Sorry to ask but how does this free text messaging work once onboard? I got wifi for only device but would like to keep in touch with daughter. Is the messaging done using the RCCL APP?

What time were you able to meet the Uber driver out of the cruise terminal? Did you do self assist disembarkation? I booked Uber in advance for May 14th, 8.45am- I hope that I can make it out by then!

Thanks for the feedback. Changed Uber meet up time for 8.45am now which I hope is safer!

I booked an Uber from Galvestone to HOU for 8.20am priced at $60. There has been chat that Uber cannot provide this service due to contract issues, but if their APP accepted the booking they must be providing the service?

Hi: i have obtained my set sail pass on the app but not sure how to access e-docs and luggage tags, would appreciate help with that. If e-docs are only available on the website and not the APP, please guide me. thanks.

Sorry to ask but where do you find edocs and luggage’s tag information on the Royal App or website? I already got set sail pass but don’t know how to find edocs etc for May 7/23 sailing. thanks

I would love to see the daily compass posted for the Allure for April/May, 2023. I know the App does post most things but wanted to see an actual daily compass too. Thanks.
