  1. You won't be able to book from say, the Italian, site because the country code will autopopulate as Italy. Same with the other sites. Call a travel agent to help you. The insurance should be optional.
  2. MSC website is poor, at best. You can just upgrade one device, but you will have to do so onboard. The prices for laundry may not be set - or they might change the packages a year out.
  3. Once Explorer Journeys starts regular stops at the island it might be....
  4. Well with more ships sailing this will just be logistically impossible. You can only have one ship in port, unlike Cozumel, for example. Everyone wants a day there so the overnights are likely a thing of the past.
  5. Barcelona is the easiest by far, IMO, but Rome is also a great option if you have time to tack on before/after since you can easily spend another week there.
  6. We leave for Norway on the Euribia next week and (not young) hubby and myself crack up every time we say FEEEE-YOOORD 🙂
  7. OMG< Totally agree!! Had the SAME interaction with Concierge William in February. He literally lied to me outright!! One the 2nd day of the cruise I asked him why I did not have pringles/toblerone/etc in mini bar. (Yes, it's minor but I Love it). He lied and said that "Corporate would not be providing anymore." I asked when this happened and he said "as of yesterday when you boarded." It was 100% BS. I did get it squared out with Melania who is lovely but he needs to go!!
  8. @MsTabbyKats Others have reported moving their non refundable YC booking deposit to a new cruise (using their one free cruise move) but NOT in a YC cabin. Then cancelling that far enough out to not have any penalty and get a refund. Seems worth a try other than just losing the $398
  9. - onboard currency in Euros Yes - multilingual activities/shows (no trivia?) YES with announcements in many languages - multilingual announcements Yes - passengers embarking and disembarking at every port if you are in the MED, then yes, every port of call - possibly more smoking onboard Yes x10000
  10. You can log into your booking to see the price of the excursions. I think, though, that the Rome on your Own was around $125 pp (don't quote me) so we booked independently.
  11. Last month on Seashore the Diamond meal could not be used at the Sushi (conveyor belt) restaurant or Teppanyaki. As we are not fans of the Ocean Cay restaurant and I was once given an item with an allergen at Hola (long story but it involved the ship medic and YC Director after the fact) we dined at Butcher's. Hola is a one and done for us!
