Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We were on the Boston Canada cruise in Sept. 2022 when a hurricane came up the coast and changed quite a few of our ports. It canceled a couple and we did not get compensated at all and we were in a sky suite?? but I do know can change itineraries to keep the passenger safe . But we did get compensated for the last five days that we were quarantining in our room because of Covid!! It was definitely a trip for the books!! And on top it off it ,it was a rebooking from the 2020 cruise that we had book that was canceled because of Covid!
  2. We have booked an alcove a couple times once on the Solstice to Mexico and we were just assigned one.On our Sept. cruise to Hawaii it’s on the last day so I might request one early in the cruise.I love the relaxed atmosphere! And we got it when it was I believe 50% off ! I think we paid $68 for the port day! Once we had a cabana booked on the edge, we got a choice of a bottle of vodka or champagne. we chose the bottle of vodka because we did not have the beverage package but I don’t see that information on the website anymore?(or maybe I just didn’t look hard enough 😉 )
  3. I always enjoy your trip reports!! I just started this yesterday and I am now waiting for your final thoughts of your cruise. Enjoy your trip with your next trip with your husband!!
  4. I just received mine !! I am only 2043 points from Zenith 🤣🤣
  5. I booked my reservations for my September 2024 cruise back in May . So approximately one year and four months in advance on the app. for me .
  6. I booked my dining reservations, a year and four months before my September 2024 cruise.
  7. I am gluten-free and did not find a lot of options on our cruise on the edge last year. I did find a gluten-free pizza and the Oceanview Café that was pretty good. Just curious if there was a lot more options . at dinner, they would always make sure there were some sliced gluten-free bread, but after two nights, I just opted not to have any bread at all it was OK but did not need it!
  8. I just booked it for our cruise looking forward to it !!
  9. Thank you for the quick replies! I thought so I have been on a couple ships that had the hot glass show, but I feel like it was either too busy or it was too windy out there to sit and watch. I do not want to do it. I have some wrist problems, but I want to watch.
  10. I am looking at just booking my husband for the class but I am hoping to go also to watch?? Is that ok?
  11. And did I read also that the fee goes towards buying one of the blown glass items?? The cost now on my planner is $113 with 5% off
  12. You have made some beautiful art!! I was thinking about booking this for our cruise next year and wondering if you’ve seen any better sales than the 5% off that they have now??
  13. I just started to read your review on Friday, and finally caught up. It was great to see the pictures and hear your views of the new ship.!! Thank you !! Also about the dish pick up I have to say I don’t think I would like them sitting in the hallway for long periods either!! We sailed on the Edge in March, and the woman who delivered our breakfast, would call within the half an hour and ask if our tray was ready to be picked up! I realized on day three that I needed to start having my breakfast right when it arrived Lol !
  14. I also have never made a reservation nor have I had dinner there. But on this particular cruise, it was busy.! We just went back the next day to get the lobster Ramen :)
  15. We have when there was a waitlist on a sea day .I think it depends on the cruise and weather. Our cruise it was cold and rainy so everyone was inside.
