They won't added any tip .They leave that choice to you if you want to add a tip when dining at a Speciality restaurant leaving from Australia.

On the 9 RCCL cruise we have been on leaving from Sydney .Any Drinks bought onboard already include the 18% gratuity.That's why drink packages and drinks cost more on RCCL cruise ship sailing out of Australia. I am not sure about spa treatments though.

You will also not be expected to tip extra . When going to a bar or restaurant on land in both Australia and New Zealand. So the waitstaff won't be expecting you for example to add a 18% tip on top of the bill.Tipping over here is based on if you want to reward someone for good service. There is no pressure to do so.

Yes if your not Australian and have not booked your cruise on the Australian website. You will get charged your gratuities daily like normal. But the prices on board for drinks etc will include the tip in the price. As New Zealand and Australia have the same law about truth in sale price.

You will get your daily gratuities charged to your account like normal. But anything you buy onboard will show the final price including your tip. You can tip extra if you want too

When booking a cruise in Australia and leaving from Australia .It has to include all gratuities in the cost of the cruise.It's law over here that the sale price show the true price with no hidden extra's. I think even the drink prices onboard has the tips already included for the same reason. But I am not sure if your not Australian and booking an Australian cruise from another country if the truth in cruise price law would still amply to you.
