  1. No water taxi.. Take a Cab… The Cab controller’s kiosk is inside the covered cruise terminal. The fares are government controlled and published at the kiosk. Work on about $20 per cab each way plus tip. Outward driver will be pleased to be booked for one’s timed return and will arrive early to put one’s mind at rest. Don’t forget Ponchos
  2. Plenty of street food places and shacks in/around the town. Also, Rum Shops.
  3. Just phoned a Bajan friend, he said SM is a beautiful 60ft dream machine….Hence XL = Extra Large
  4. Think it’s sailing on a larger yacht, with more space/comfort. With regard eats, the food is always the same high quality, with XL having a slightly larger choice of premium drinks - All drinks are premium across all sailings.
  5. SM - https://www.12metre.com Captain Bob - Speedboat tour, snorkelling, lunch etc. ST - https://usvisharkdiving.com/about-us/
  6. May one clarify? The discussion with OP was on the potential transfer by train and one mentioned a train being about £100 more for 2 pax, but less hassle. But one’s post did successfully generate the required information on prices. So a win-win
  7. Agreed, a people carrier will be about the same total price of a cab to the station, then 4 tickets. No train, no angst.
  8. Nothing direct, minimum 1 change. Take a cab it’s about £100 per couple more, but less hassle. But know CC will suggest cab companies with prices.
  9. May one suggest flying from Southampton Airport to Paris. Could save a lot of hastle.
  10. Here’s a link previous thread with budget suggestions…..
  11. Note to self… next visit - $170 gets - https://adventureantigua.com/activities/the-xtreme-circumnav/ - which includes the visit to Stingray, Sightseeing, Lunch, drinks etc., etc.,
  12. One can recommend The Mango Tree - Check out the Chef’s Specials (tastebud joys) on the daily board - but do book early for that very desirable front row table overlooking the Pitons. BIL & SIL took a Buffet lunch at The View as part of a private tour a few years ago, which they enjoyed with a distance view of The Pitons I will invite @reedprincess to suggest alternatives for consideration, being excellent for both food and views. Enjoy checking out the Websites, the photos, the Menus and the ambiance in making a selection, but with a big note to self, do book early for a prime view table.
  13. @cruisemom42 has suggest https://sharedshuttle.it Personally, would contact Rome Cabs for a transport only price and a tour. In no doubt other CC members will also give advice.
