If you want to enjoy as much time there as possible, be sure to get-up early and try to get on one of the earliest tenders. Since you have watched video, you should already have a good feel for what to expect. Do feel free to explore the other parts of the island, if you have time. I hope that you do make it to GSC and have a fabulous day!!!

Where does the boat dock in Key West
ggTexasGal replied to conniehar's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Since it is a US Military installation, I wonder if a valid US Military ID would have sufficed?! None the less, I imagine that paying close attention to "requirements" prior to disembarking in Key West is absolutely essential! -
Here is a video link of EPIC CBS room 12084... with a large shower. (I believe that the Family BCS are the most likely to have tubs (but, I don't know that as a fact.) I'd check with NCL or a travel agent for more info, before booking if you prefer shower! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCtSrhYFHSs

We have been seeing that also. Hopefully they get new itineraries (that don't keep changing) sometime soon!

The Final Payment is 120 days. So, if full payment is not received by End of Day (120), the reservation becomes null.
-
Yes, if the cancellation is at least 121 days prior to the actual cruise start date! Once the Final Payment date passes, no full refund of deposit or FCC.
-
USA and European rules are quite different. Final Payment in USA is 120 days prior to cruise.

Typically, NCL ends cruises from Galveston in March/April every year.

@ready2cruzagain You are correct! 1. Who is eligible for the NCL military discount? Active members, veterans, spouses and surviving spouses of the following branches of the United States military with a verified ID.me account: Army Navy Air Force Marine Corps Coast Guard Space Force National Guard

Internet/drink package- paying twice?
ggTexasGal replied to Distinctive-Destinations's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
@Distinctive-Destinations The term "Tax" keeps being used, however, there is no "tax" being directly added to either the FAS or FAS+ packages. In fact, the FAS and/or FAS+ packages are charged 20% Gratuities! Probably helpful to read T&Cs (copied) below... For sailings on or after to January 1, 2023: Guests are responsible for 20% gratuities on the retail value of the Unlimited Open Bar Package ($21.80 USD per person per day) and/or Soda Package ($1.59 USD per person per day) prior to cruise Retail value of Unlimited Open Bar Package is $109.00 USD per person per day. Package price is subject to change Retail value of the Adult Soda Package is $7.95 USD per person per day. Package price is subject to change. 20% gratuities on the retail value of the Unlimited Open Bar Package and/or Soda Package are included when booking through the Australia office. When booking through the Australia office, gratuities related to beverage and soda packages are included. -
Boarding Time Port Canaveral
ggTexasGal replied to carribeanpirate18's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Earlier online Check-In times have already been taken by cruisers who have Haven (or suites), Latitudes upper status, and/or other "perks" that allow earlier access to the Check-In system. None-the-less, you should be able to arrive at the port at your earliest convenience and "Check-In" as quickly as the lines clear port security. Yet, your actual boarding time will take place with the same sort of "priority" as is allowed for the online Check-In, based on above listed "seniority". -
Starboard/Port Aft or True Aft Cabin?
ggTexasGal replied to CharmCity2000's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
With "true aft" do you mean Aft-facing? Aft-facing balcony rooms (suites) are our favorites. We absolutely love the views from our balcony (and love "seeing where we've been" view😉). -
This may not be as high as you need but, we have step stools quite similar to this. They are super simple to fold/unfold and to store flat. There are others of different sizes available at all different prices. https://www.amazon.com/Utopia-Home-Folding-Step-Stool/dp/B0B71ZJ2CH/ref=asc_df_B0B71ZJ2CH?tag=bngsmtphsnus-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80470663307006&hvnetw=s&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4584070163997620&th=1

@gmbhardy That has been our experience.
