Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I am also looking to see if anyone has used this company recently. Thank you.
  2. I will be visiting Skagway on Princess the beginning of June. Does it matter the time of day to experience this excursion? The tour times have different prices. The first one 0945 being the most expensive and the last one at 4:30pm is the least expensive. Any input? Thank you so much. Description below. Leave all traces of civilization behind and experience the infinite beauty of southeast Alaska's remote glaciers - accessible only by helicopter! Soar over glaciers and green expanses en route to landing on a glacier for a guided nature walk. Lift off from the historic Skagway waterfront and head into a rugged region of sheer mountains, majestic valleys and massive glaciers. Jagged peaks towering over the Chilkat Glacier, cascading waterfalls surrounding the Ferebee Glacier, or the spectacular "river of ice" known as the Meade Glacier are among the wonders you may encounter. Flight routes and landing zones are selected daily to ensure you enjoy the best the area has to offer. After a thrilling 40-minute flight (roundtrip) over spectacular glaciers, you'll have the rare opportunity to explore one of Mother Nature's greatest marvels. Enjoy an unforgettable 40-minute walking tour as experienced glacier guides explain the awesome forces at work.
  3. Thank you. I was looking at google maps and went by that location. It is close enough area to the locaton I need to meet.
  4. Thank you so much. You were very helpful.
  5. I was just wondering if there is only one location where the tenders drop you off? Is the location Cabo San Lucas Cruise Port? I just want to know for a meeting place for a non-ship excursion to the Arch. Thank you.
  6. Thank you for sharing this. 🙂
  7. Thank you. You really helped by explaining how it works. I really appreciate your help.
  8. Thank you for your reply. Say I have $300 non-refundable credit on my account and I go to the casino and put $300 onto my account, How do they keep track? Basically, I am asking if I can cash out non-refundable credit in the casino. It's been done on other cruiselines. I am wondering if anyone has tried this?
  9. I have not sailed HA yet. We have a cruise coming up and I am wondering if you can use OBC in the casino? (We can on Princess) Thank you.
  10. Thank you everyone! You really have been so helpful.
  11. Thank you for answering all these questions. 🙂
  12. I am new to HA. We are going to skip the Have It All package. I am looking at the wine packages and the cost of individual bottles. 1. Is the price pre-cruise the same as when you get on the ship? For example, 6 bottles Suite 2 costs $252.52 if my cruise planner. 2. Do you pay 18% gratituty on wine packages? It does not show this in my cruise planner. 3. Is there 18% gratituty for spirits that are pre-ordered? So, now looking at this, it seems there is a 18% charge on wine packages. Thank you for your help.
  13. Wow. You are amazing. Thank you for doing this and sharing with everyone. I have been trying to find this information for days, looking on FB, Reddit and here. We are new to HAL and it's a bit of a shocker to us how they do things. (Our last 10 cruises have been with Princess). I printed out your spreadsheet and will try and find the answers once we board. (April on Nieuw Amsterdam) And will try to come back and report after. Thank you again.
  14. Thank you for recent information. This looks like a place to go. I used to go to another resort for the day but it appears it changed owners. I want to try this one! Thank you.
  15. We used to walk to Holiday Beach Resort. We did this a few times but the last time was in 2018. It's about a one mile walk.
