Ask any crew member. The muster stations are all on the promenade decks or one deck below. Crew members at these stations wear yellow hats. Muster stations are mostly along the promenade deck. Muster stations will be in the same section as you cabin either on a deck below or above. Aft cabins will have an aft muster station, forward cabins a forward muster station. It goes like that.

You can easily check airfares on the Princess website by accessing your booking, or just go into the Princess web site find your cruise and then look at the air flights and fares. You book EZ Air yourself. Flexible fares, where you pay at the same time as you pay for your cruise, are normally lower than non-flexible ones, where you pay when the flights are booked. Some airlines allow you to select your seats when booked, some will not allow it until they receive payment from EZ Air which is around 45 days prior to the flight. It depends on the airline. EZ Air has some good business class fares for international flights when related to direct airline fares.

The poster is correct. Muster stations on every Princess ship I have sailed on, which are all the classes except the new Sun, as well as classes of ships long retired from the fleet have muster stations assigned on the main promenade deck and maybe one deck lower. The stations start forward as muster station A and move aft through muster stations B to E and sometimes F. Some stations are combined. Each cabin's muster station is below or above the area where the cabin is located. I can't quote any regulations, but feel placement of muster stations are defined in standard SOLAS rules.

Are you speaking about the drill or a possible actual emergency? The drill works this way. When you board while you are waiting to go to your cabin you visit your muster station. If your cabin is forward on deck 5 then you muster station will be somewhere in the forward area on deck 6 or 7. You go there and scan your medallion Then you either watch the video on your cabin TV once you get to your cabin or on your smart device. There is no muster drill gathering and no going to your cabin to get your life jacket. If an actual emergency, 7 short blasts and 1 long blast, you listen to the announcements. They will probably mention to return to your cabin, retrieve your life vests as well as personal belongings such as meds and report to your muster station. I have never heard a "man your life boat" instruction in a drill or for a real emergency. If life boats are required then you will be led there from your muster station by trained staff.

Your account begins with a credit balance of non refundable and refundable. As on board purchases are made they are posted as they occur and net against the balance. Non refundable credits are used first followed by refundable credits. It's automatic. Any refundable OBC remaining when you disembark will be refunded by check. Amount balances of $25 or less can be received, if you want, as cash from passenger services on the last day.

Basically 90 minutes before sailing. Most U.S. port sailings now sail at 3pm, so plan on 1:30 at the latest if sailing from a U.S. port.

Yes. No charge for the service and most food and drinks. Some food does have a surcharge, most is no extra charge. Actually you can sit anywhere on the ship, place an order with Ocean Now and it will be delivered to you. It's not just your cabin.

August 10th to 24th. It is difficult to determine how many youth will be on board. Arrival in NYC is right at the end of the summer school break where I live and in other parts of the country. It's also difficult to determine what the distribution of youth ages would be, how many would be teens.

6pm is a difficult time to show up in any of the 3 DRs. The first wave show up between 5pm and 5:30pm filling most of the available tables. Early dining is very popular. This past February/March on the Ruby theater show times were 7:30 and 9:00 or 9:30. Difficult to make the 7:30 shows when dining a 6pm.

1. If you wish to have a lounge chair in one of the shaded areas then you need to get there early. There are plenty of lounges, but shade areas are in demand. 5. Yes. There is no other option. You use your medallion just like you do on the ship. No Cash. Same is true for the merchandise sold there. 8. You can use cash or credit card if you leave the Princess Cays compound. If you wish to leave the compound you have to carry standard ID's in addition to your medallions. In the past I have seen some local vendors outside the back gate. 9. You should bring the blue/white striped towels, not your bathroom towels. Pretty sure they are widely available. You can bring some from the pool the day before and I also think these towels are available as you exit the ship onto the tender or maybe when exiting the tender. Can't remember exactly. 11. Water shoes are a big plus. The entrance to the ocean is full of coral rocks and difficult to navigate in bare feet. Sand is also hot.

You can book through Princess. It will cost you. Princess costs are per person and really offer no benefits. It is very easy to get to San Pedro from LAX using a taxi, Uber or some other transportation. The drive is around 45 minutes. There are a few nice hotels in San Pedro, Double Tree & Crown Plaza to name two and there are also a number of hotels in Long Beach which is just 20 minutes from San Pedro. The San Pedro hotels offer shuttles to the pier. In Ft. Lauderdale there are loads of hotels minutes from the pier and 20 minutes from the airport. Suggest you book your own hotels in both locations. On arrival in Ft. Lauderdale suggest you book a hotel that allows for early arrival as you will be there around 9:30/10am.

Have you previously visited Halifax? The pier area is very nice. It's a long boardwalk with shops, restaurants, crafts, and lots more. The back street is also nice. Ships dock at the lower end. I have been to Peggy's Cove. It was nice. But, in my opinion Halifax is equally nice, may be even better, and requires no tour. Just walk off and you are there. If you have never visited Halifax suggest you remain, walk and explore the boardwalk and surrounding area.
