  1. No real sympathy here. I don't think that 6000 other passengers should have to wait for people who don't get back on time. If people can't tell time, they should take a ship ShoreEx.
  2. Call the general reservation line and ask that they put a "Special Request" into your reservation for "Twin Beds". Get them to re-send the "Guest Confirmation" to you via email. You should see a separate section called "Special Requests" with a notation for "Twin Beds"
  3. The Joy is bit of an odd ball in the fleet. After she was built, they converted about 20 Suites to Haven rooms, essentially adding 25% more rooms for the Haven infrastructure to handle. I have not personally sailing the Joy haven since this conversion. I sailing a suite on the Joy which does not enjoy the same benefits as suites on every other NCL ship with them. So, again, the Joy is an odd ball.
  4. The harbor will be opened long before NCL Sky will call there.
  5. Menu from Seascape last week if it helps
  6. The more important thing is that since it is no longer the Diamond Lounge, diamond members are not allowed in for afternoon happy hour times. You can peak in from the outside like gold and platinum members
  7. First come first serve once the re-route gets into the system and you have the correct days in Cruise Planner.
  8. No. They only send them out to CBS on exception. We always sail in CBS or Haven rooms and only get tags for the Haven sailings. We have an upcoming CBS in a few weeks and did not get any priority tags. We already printed out tags from our eDocs. (We're diamond also)
  9. We never take fixed time dining. MTD gives us the flexibility (with or without reservations) to eat when we want and show up early/late to our "reservation". Fixed time dining is slowly becoming extinct like the dinosaurs and we cant figure out why RCCL hangs on to it.
  10. It means two dinners for 2. So, 120 days prior to departure at 12 midnight eastern time, you log on to your NCL account and make two dinner reservations for 2 people. If you are going to a cover charge restaurant (e.g., Teppanyaki or Moderno Brazilian Steakhouse), book them first. Then book any a la carte restaurant. You get 1 appetizer, 1 soup/salad, 1 entree, sides (if the restaurant has them), sauces (if the restaurant has them), and a dessert. An example Free meal at Cagney's Steakhouse is
  11. Go to the NCL.COM website and click BALTIMORE as the port of departure. The simple answer is "yes", but maybe go check for yourself and see if it what you want.
  12. If your "friend" is traveling on ship shore excursions in tourist areas, they all will take USD. If your friend is out on their own using taxis, etc., then they need to carry Euros.
  13. Welcome to Cruise Critic! No, if you have a 12-day certificate, someone else like Caesars is giving the player a "gift" for attending one of their events. The person issuing the certificate is "reimbursing" him for attending the event and leaving some money behind for the casino. Also, please avoid posting to long, dead threads since the information is often out of date and causes confusion.
