Not sailed with EJ yet, but our late 2025 sailing has just had a schedule change, however this has gone from an 11- to a 12-night sailing. Luckily we have not booked air or hotels yet, so apart from the extra PTO day needed, we cannot complain over an extra night onboard. Would have been a different story if our other travel arrangements had been in place.

I think the FB poster said it was a Reserve cabana…they deserve all the perks they can get to make up for that view!
-
I meant if I had booked that cabin not knowing about it…I would probably sit down and weep. Worst balcony view ever.

The Deck 9 cabana mini-suite full-height blue glass balconies - absolute dealbreaker!!

You are looking into several other balconies, some awkward privacy issues for many cabins. It’s the same on the latest P&O design ships, I believe

So confused by these huge price hikes. We had been waiting for VV to release their summer 2025 prices, had my eye on a 10-11 day European sailing in September. VV charging £11K+ for their entry-level suite. DH joked that we could get a premium line for less than that. So I checked. The first two I looked at - Explora and Oceania - had very similar 11- and 12-night itineraries also in September, similar cabin types, both £1-£1.5K cheaper than VV. We had never considered a smaller, premium ship before now, so I guess I should thank VV for that. But I am sad that so many guests who had tried - and loved - Virgin are now priced-out.

Wow…these 2025 prices are now comparable with Celebrity. No pay-in-full 10% discount, included bar tabs pretty much cut in half…am struggling to see where the value lies.

Odyssey of the Seas Junior Suites

Were on Odyssey in September, 12636 J4 cabin, amazing cabin great location, never heard the elevators, only very occasionally someone talking extra loud as they walked past. Would thoroughly recommend. -

PAYING for Pizza in Sorrento’s
GlenG replied to Slidell_Cruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Amused at the number of people swearing they’ll never sail RCL again if Sorrento’s imposes a charge. How is that subpar stuff a dealbreaker for anyone?? And which lines would these people move to? NCL prices are through the roof and Princess customers are up in arms over their inclusions being removed. At least the communication from RCL is clear and upfront. And anyway, it might never happen. Personally, I would be happy to pay a surcharge for pizza onboard if they massively upgraded the quality and choice. -
No idea what all the hype is about G’s Table, real average fare. Jamie’s far better. Pity there are so few of them.

What is the suite deck like on Wonder?
GlenG replied to goldentrio's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Great having the sun deck right next to your cabin (if you’re on 18th) and the bar and seating is wonderful. But definite soot problems from the stacks and the noise is crazy. The easy listening from the suite deck competing with the club music from below and all the sports activities, really not a relaxing spot. Such a shame as the suite lounge and Coastal Kitchen are excellent and very beautiful.
