Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. On the Grandeur now and the hours are 7 am - 9 pm.
  2. Lorraine will be leaving in May, but I fail to remember if it is the end of May, or earlier. (As I hadn’t yet had my full supply of coffee this morning.). Z will be able to tell you. She will be going to the Explorer after her vacation. David Niven will be coming back to the Grandeur.
  3. We are on our way. Up at 2:30 this morning to make a 6:00 flight and now sitting in DFW awaiting the other half trip to Fort Lauderdale. Will be staying there and being picked up by private driver in the a.m. We can’t wait, and will be sure to check out the pool bar when we get on board.
  4. I’ll try to keep Ray in line. Can’t wait to see you both.
  5. Z, you could always join us March 25 Miami-New York on the Grandeur. Would love that.
  6. We just booked our air to Barcelona through Regent Air. My TA also told me that my Delta choices were not available as Delta had cancelled the contract. Of course, this could just be verbiage that the air department is using……or not.
  7. We would usually book our own hotel, or at the least, provide our own transportation to the ship. I am concerned about not knowing which port they will be using. I’ve heard they sometimes have to use Tarragona instead of the port in Barcelona.
  8. Gpilon, how did you find out about the Intercontinental? Our account shows the Hotel Sophia for our August cruise. We are staying a few days extra and have also booked them with Hotel Sophia and don’t want to have to change hotels for the night.
  9. I saw the same thing yesterday when looking at some flights far into future. I assume it is a glitch.
  10. My experience has been, if Regent has given you the onboard credit, it will have to be used or forfeited. It cannot be converted to cash. If your TA has given you a credit, it can be converted to cash while you are onboard. That is also true for any excursions you have paid for, and canceled before the date on your tour ticket. Hope that helps.
  11. Z, looking forward to reading about your tour to the concentration camp. We were scheduled for the same excursion last summer. Alas,, Covid made other plans and we had to miss it.
  12. It’s so good to have you back!!!! You always make my day with your posts. Congratulations on your anniversary and have a wonderful cruise. Wish we were with you but at least we will be with Mudhen in September.
  13. There are phones in all the cabins. No need to use a cell phone.
  14. They are probably from nowhere near the southwest.😜
