I'm curious about these aft oceanview cabins on deck 14 by the Terrace Pool on the Emerald Princess. We are considering a cruise to Norway on the Emerald Princess and thought these might actually be good cabins since there probably won't be many people at the pool in the colder weather. Would also like to know if they have one large porthole window or two smaller ones. Thanks for any information you can provide if you have sailed in these cabins.

We will be docked at Cobh on Sunday, July 9, from 10 to 4. Since we (6 adults) will be there such a short time, we are thinking of going into Cork on our own. At first, I thought taking the train into Cork would be fun and easy, but the schedule is limited on Sundays. I'm assuming there will be taxis available at the pier, which might be a better option and perhaps take the train back. My questions are: What is open in Cork on Sunday? Is it easy to get a taxi in Cork (or get an Uber) to get back to Cobh if the train schedule doesn't work out? Have you ever walked from the train station in Cork to the city center or vice versa? Have you ever been on the Hop On Hop Off bus in Cork? Thanks for any advice or suggestions you can give!

I think we are on the same cruise possibly. The ports are Reykjavik, Akureyri, Seydisfjordur, Belfast, Liverpool, and Cork (Cobh). In Akureyri we are booked with Sage Travel for the Lake Mývatn Classic tour. I can't find anything for Seydisfjordur. Cork is only a 6-hour stop on a Sunday for us, so that one is difficult, too.

Muffyn, I would love to hear more about your houseboat rental! We are going to Amsterdam for a couple of days before our cruise near the end of June and a houseboat seems like a fun idea! What area of the city were you in? How many days were you there? Thanks for any information you can provide.
