  1. I thought you could book them from the same section you can book things like chocolate strawberries etc etc under the gift section from your personaliser. Have a look there .. am guessing you need to phone up though.
  2. Tbh we missed the real muster drills. Actually being there made it more real ... and made it feel like a cruise.. if you get me. A ship is a ship not a land hotel.....
  3. They can make the whole area the Beach House now of they want to ......
  4. Perhaps not replaced but cleaned .. especially the aft cabins. Anyway have a great time and let us know
  5. Our carpets were not good at all and bed settee really worn. It would be really bad if they didn't spruce up the cabins. They must be, surely ????
  6. Surely they are doing the cabins up a bit in terms of soft furnishings? The casino is the least of the issues
  7. Great. You will have a lovely time. So pleased you took the plunge..
  8. Hi, not for financial stuff, passport identification before being allowed to the ship to board. 🙂
  9. Ps when we were on Britannia we were told that she was sailing with more passengers than her bigger sister Arvia. How true that is, I can not guarantee, but a number of people on there who had sailed on Arvia said they much preferred their cruise on Britannia. Forgot to mention, we took the advice of other CC members and paid for Premium Seats on the flights. It is not cheap, but it was great and we would recommend if you can afford it. If you do want these seats though, you have to book early. Link to our review
  10. We had a fabulous time on our first Caribbean cruise in January 2024 on Britannia and rebooked for January 2025 on board. Our review is on CC. It is a lovely ship which needs some tlc after being in service now since 2015 but she is now having a refurb. I would recommend a cruise in the Caribbean on her 100%. Just remember, you are not paying lots so value for money is excellent in our opinion and beats other cruise lines (including TUI) hands down in terms of what you pay. Give it a go - if you go to enjoy yourself and not pick fault you will have a great time
  11. Same here. I want to see the actual cost as well ! Not too keen on the 10% deposit time.
  12. Thats what puts me off booking early. I like to know the cabin I am booking so wait until bookings open. Have to say have seen a nice 14 nights on Azura from 4th June and a similar itinerary 30th April. What has been fun this time is looking at all cruises and picking the itineraries we want and not having to keep to school holidays. We have been liberated.. yeah
  13. We were asked many moons ago in 2 ports in France as far back as 2018 I think it was. May have been 2016.
  14. Have only looked at a few so far, but from what we've seen it looks an ok list of cruises, with more new ports than of late (I think). There also seem to be more 7 night cruises from Southampton to Spain and France outside of school holidays - which can only be a good thing. Off to look at my brochure now ....
