Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thanks for this - it seems like it's all changed in the past ten years. When's the official check in time for normal guests? The cruise planner says we can check in two weeks prior to the cruise date - is this taking into account the two days earlier with FTTF or no?
  2. Bumping this... We're cruising out of Baltimore in three weeks. Haven't cruise with Carnival in 10 years. We have FTTF. I'm not sure what our arrival slot will be (check in is not until next week), but let's say we don't get the earliest slot, can we still arrive at the earliest time since we have FTTF?
  3. This is good to hear. We're on in three weeks. Have a safe and wonderful cruise.
  4. Good to know! I think I'll wait it out and book on board - thanks for the tips!
  5. This is my first time booking a massage on board - don't they add 18% gratuity? It's showing as zero in the cruise planner when I get to the payment screen. Do they add 18% on board at the time of service? Does anyone tip above the automatic 18%?
  6. I can confirm it's not yet available for our April 2024 sailing, but following this thread to keep up-to-date on when it comes available for everyone else.
  7. Hi Y'all, So it's been about 8 years since we cruised Carnival and the whole idea of an 'arrival time' is new to us. I assume that everyone selects an arrival time at check-in, right? Is it the earlier you do online check-in, the higher chance of an earlier arrival time selection? Now, if we throw FTTF into the mix, does that change anything? Do you still get an express line at embarkation? It may also be worth mentioning we're sailing out of Baltimore, and yes, I know, it'll be later than usual. Thanks!
  8. This will be out first time sailing Carnival in 10 years, so things have changed since we last used FTTF. Can someone explain how the check-in times work in relation to FTTF? Worth noting that we'll be going out of Baltimore. Do you pick your check-in window during online check in or is it assigned? This will be the cruise that turns us gold, so we're not high up on the loyalty scale. Essentially, how would we get the earliest boring time possible and does FTTF make a difference?
  9. My motto exactly, top shelf all the way. Thanks!
  10. While we're on this topic, are you able to order a drink with top-shelf using the Cheers package? For example, am I able to order a Patron margarita instead of using whatever standard tequila they have?
