Hi everyone. I am so happy my life centers around retirement. With so much free time. NOT! This past weekend I was in charge of the cookie table for our parish center dedication for one of the best Priests a Catholic Community could ask for. Now I made the buckeyes, nut keiffels, Kolachi and Almond soft batch. The women of our parish also baked for a combined total of 34 varieties. Need I say it was a great success. Today I drove for one of my few remaining babysitter for Zoey as my daughter and son in law will be relocating to a new city. Brandon was accepted as the new assistant strength and conditioning coach at ………..(to be shared soon) as he makes the official announcement. Let’s just say it will make my travels much shorter 😁 And tomorrow here in Oxford Ohio I have my eclipse glasses in preparation of the sun event. Good morning. Hope all are safe and healthy. Just a little update. Since we will be cruising in 22 days ish, and I had my routine doctors appointment last week He recommended a few things. 1. Two days before we travel start taking one pepto bismol pill in the evening and one in the morning. might help if you get lower noro virus reduce the outflow. 2. Get the RSV vaccine. Yes I am of age and have a few health risks. So I listened and 8 days ago I got the vaccine. For the last 7 days I have had significant pain at the injection site, that I could not turn and lay on that arm. No other issues. Now I am not a wimp. But wow it really was an attention getter. Today is the first day I woke up after sleeping soundly and when I opened my eyes I was on my right side where the vaccine was given in the upper arm. Also since I will be traveling to babysit, we are celebrating Easter dinner tonight. Keeping it simple. turkey mash potatoes stuffin Green bean casserole corn cucumber salad. Be safe.

Great point. Yup Symphony cruise in 3 weeks in a GS cost us only Port Fees. So the both of us are paying a grand total $247. ( not each - combined). So that makes the situation even better. 😳

Good morning. Well just a little change of topic from me. When I cruise with my spouse I have a daily budget that I allow in the casino. When it’s gone POOOF!!!!!! So am I for the day. Last year was a great year. Broke even. Yup That’s a good year. I had 14 hand pays from 3 cruises. Payout ranged $1400s - $3500. So I did what any self conscious American citizen would do while filing my taxes. I turned in my paper work from the cruise that I got with every hand pay and also the RCI requested win/loss form. ( which was emailed quickly). So our accountant called me and asked for my gambling log. I go. “what do you mean” She goes and I para quote…… ”…in order for me to submit I need the log you kept tracking ALL the money you put in and in addition all the money you acquired on winning spins which includes anything and all amounts. Even if it was just “2” registering for let’s say cherries….” I go. “ Your kidding…..right”. “ a log”. She unfortunately goes. “No”. So. Now I get to inform the spouse that that BIG refund we are getting is not gonna happen. And. We have to pay this year. But. The good news is we are “ Married “. again for tax purposes ( we are happily married celebrating 33 years in August). We don’t have to file separately ( like we have done every year previously) This should make him happy. NOT. Be safe.
