  1. You can. It's easiest that way. Travel with cash is easiest but the other 2 will work. You can use your onboard account for the tips for the butler by going to the customer service desk or to the concierge's desk. You can ask for a receipt and hand it to the butler to show your appreciation. Whether or not the butler will actually get that amount is between the butler and NCL.
  2. The dispute was related to the changes that, in part, turned Epic into the hideous monstrosity that it is today. I didn't want to get into how ugly the ship is (inside and out) because certain forum members get irrationally upset whenever anyone does. 😉
  3. Epic isn't the best representation of NCL. It's the only ship like it for a reason. As many as 3 were planned but after the first one....no more.
  4. My experience with the concierge service was great. He was able to get the specific stateroom that I wanted when the online system was acting up. I've been able to contact him at other times to apply better discounts and to check prices. No complaints from me. Are you sure that it was a concierge or was it a typical phone rep?
  5. If looking at it that way, abide by the lower weight limit. In that way, you cannot be out of compliance. However, as many have pointed out, NCL doesn't actually weight anything and even if they did, what proof would NCL have that their scales are (or have been recently) properly and accurately calibrated? 20 kilos, 22.7 kilos, or 23 kilos isn't worth thinking about. FAQs and the answers given don't hold the same weight (pun) as terms & conditions. Follow what you sign/agree to and you'll be fine.
  6. No, what is being added is a set of standard balcony staterooms on the port side on deck 15. The OP is correct that they can be booked now and the numbers are lower towards the front (15108, 15110, etc.).
  7. I don't see it as good news for Haven guests. It's probably more of a feeling of indifference.
  8. I don't think that will happen. If it can't be 2+3+1 for whatever reason, the mattress in the Pullman bed (in the ceiling of the smaller bedroom) can be removed and placed on the floor in the living room. It's not ideal but the steward will make it a "bed" in the evening and put it away in the morning.
  9. How many are staying in the suite? Are you trying for 2 in master bedroom, 2 in second bedroom, and 2 in living room?
  10. The wait depends on how busy it is, how many people are waiting before you, and if you have a reservation or not. It needed, head to the nearest bar until your table is ready. Sometimes, there is no wait at all. You can make reservations months in advance just to make sure that you have a spot.
  11. Thanks for the review. I have World America booked for 2025 so a lot of the World Europa info will carry over. Some things will be different, obviously. Since so many things have changed (improved?) from the first Oasis class ship to the last, it will be interesting to see how MSC changes (improves?) from the first World Class ship to the last.
  12. MSC also has... "Marijuana possession or use, including medical marijuana, is strictly prohibited on board, on shore excursions and at private destinations."
  13. It depends on when you book. If you book early when both are available, you can get a livable price.
  14. The Pitbull commercial is from when Escape first went into service.
  15. The song by Queen was also used years earlier in a Coca-Cola commercial.
