Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. It's 270 days prior to the end of your cruise. Then you need a booster. If you have had a booster, that's enough, regardless of time elapsed. No requirement for a subsequent booster.
  2. Yes, you can. Are you sailing from Southampton? If so, that's all you need.
  3. Yes. Write in your special requests. I don't understand the point of the additional tip. I 'm sure the delivery person has nothing to do with the preparation of the breakfast.
  4. That just explains where the OBC originated. It has no bearing on how it can be spent. You can spend it just like any other OBC.
  5. I was wondering as well. (Asking for a friend.)
  6. Maybe someone is "transitioning." It's all the rage now.
  7. ABSOLUTELY UNTRUE. See posts 13 and 14. 13 shows a Princess Notice detailing how FCC can be used. 14 shows how another passenger was able to spend his. cashValue FCC will be refunded. Goodwill FCC is "use or lose."
  8. Princess several weeks ago eased the restrictions on how FCC could be used. Now includes sharing with others in your cabin, EZ Air, port fees and taxes. I suspect Shore excursions and Plus/Premium packages may be included. The aim was to make it easier for guests to use their FCC. Originally, FCC could only be used for Cruise Fare..
  9. Maybe they are planning a more extensive dry dock visit. That could be a good sign for the Nov 9 S. Pacific 28-dayer. I've been looking at that one, but was concerned about Crown for such an extended trip. I noticed last night that the cruise was "Currently not Available.)
  10. Had the same happen a few hours ago looking for the Crown Princess 11/9/22 28 day S. Pacific rt out of LA. Was hoping it might mean the were taking the Crown off that route. Seems odd to send a ship with all those propulsion problems on an extended itinerary like that.
  11. My wife has limited mobility, so uses wheelchair assistance.Agree with everything said above. On embarkation, just tell the "line monitor" you need a wheelchair. You will be tole where to sit to wait for assistance. Yes, there is sometimes a bit of a wait. For disembarkation, the documents you receive will include insrtructions on when and where to go for wheelchair assistance. Usually off the atrium, probably at Vines. No need to pre-arrange either.
  12. You've confused two situations. You only need one booster, regardless of time elapsed. The 270 days refers to the original Full vaccination, be it one jab or two. If it is more than 270 days from your last dose, you need a booster. If you have had a booster (any booster) you are covered as far as Princess requirements are concerned. We received our two jabs in Feb and March, 2021. We had a booster in Nov, 2021. We are good to go under the current scenario. (Cruising in late August and mid December.)
  13. Book your air arrangements with the cruise line. They will coordinate flights with your cruise. In the event of cancellation of the cruise, by you or the cruise line, they will cancel the flights at no cost to you. Also, they often have better pricing, especially for one-way flights such as your TA. If you book the OLife option with Oceania you may get free air or a credit toward the airfare. Give them a call. It should give you peace of mind.
