even if there’s no communication from Virgin and the app says “unable to upgrade” now?

Bid on a few MRS level upgrades a few weeks ago. On Wednesday my card was charged for my most expensive bid, yet I’ve gotten no communication from Virgin, the app still shows my original cabin and the upgrade site shows “unable to upgrade” for this bid, even though the charge went through. Is this typical? Maybe the system hasn’t updated?

Three days ago I was charged for my upgrade bid but I’ve gotten no communication or information from Virgin regarding this. Does anyone know if its normal to take a few days or do we think an error occurred?

Just wondering what everyone's experience with the MRS Agent has been, particularly if you have any comparison to the Genies aboard RCI ships? I've sailed with Genies a number of times but this will be my first sailing with a MRS Agent. I've done little pre-planning, so I'm hoping they have as much pull as the Genies do. Any other advice? Things to ask for?
