We were on with you and the only thing I would disagree with is the food at the Lido buffet. Not everything was good but not everything was bad either. We had some really tasty items on some of the days. It was hit or miss but I never went away hungry 😉 I did do a made to order omelet every day because the scrambled eggs were .. yuck! But I enjoyed all of the different potato and sausage varieties. Food is very subjective so I totally get our difference of opinions LOL I would like to also add that despite being a full ship it really never felt it. We were almost always able to get chairs near a pool and if not we could find one on a different deck. We loved the itinerary so much that I booked the same one (swapping Grand Turk for AC) 12/28/24. Loved the 4 sea days and only 3 ports!!

We will be "cruisin into 2023" with you! We are in New Port Richey so I appreciate the info about the traffic that day! We will be driving over in the morning but will leave a bit earlier to compensate for it!

I did not want the 10 am but I didn't want to risk getting the latest time. I set my alarm yesterday and at 12:20am today I was able to secure the 12-12:30 time which is just perfect for us. I'm hoping that by the time we get on the boat we can go right to our cabin and then muster and then lunch!

my check in is this Saturday and I believe I will be setting a midnight alarm for myself based on your comment! Thank you!!! 😁

It's interesting this time for us. I normally don't drink enough to make Cheers "worth" it for me/us either. But I purchased it for our upcoming NYE Magic cruise because we have 4 sea days and it includes all of the other beverages. I purchased it in May and fully paid for it. Fast forward to July when I was laid off from my job and am still not employed. I am kind of grateful that I don't have to worry about it now...every alcoholic beverage, specialty coffee, energy drink, etc is paid for. So while I may not "break even" I will enjoy my cruise without the financial worry.

My son is just so excited that I can't resist buying it! But..if it happens to stay clean...it just may go back 😉

the kids tux is under $60 which is way cheaper than renting. I may just buy for hubby as well and just stop my own crazy lol

Let me start by saying my 8 year old really wants to dress up for our 8 night Magic cruise departing on New Year's Eve. So I am purchasing him a tuxedo but don't wish to buy one for hubby. So I am curious if Carnival has a rental program? Or, does anyone have a recommendation of a rental service that is able to deliver to the ship? Thank you in advance for any help 🙂

Hey all! I booked this cruise in Oct 2020 as a way to get through the pandemic with something to look forward too! Fast forward and our cruise is now 58 days away (12/31 sailing)... woo hoo! However, I just realized that the cabin I booked (9476) is directly below the aft pool on deck 10. Does anyone have any insight into how noisy the cabin will be later in the day / overnight? I am hoping not too noisy 🤞 Thanks in advance for any input 🙂
