  1. Hi Dale Andrews - I was emailing with a personal cruise consultant at Crystal. I told her the problem with booking that cruise was that we don’t want to spend a whole day at the airport. She didn’t suggest any solutions so I figured they must not offer any transfers that included tours. I’m still looking at the day pass at a hotel option, but even if I find one I’m not sure I can convince my DH to go for it. Especially since the flight home includes an overnight connection. 🙄 I don’t give up easily though.

  4. Thanks All for the suggestions. The problem is mostly with our luggage. I looked for places to check our bags but couldn’t find anything. I looked for day passes but didn’t see any with luggage storage. We don’t want to rent a car, that’s a disaster waiting to happen for us to drive on the left!
  5. Port Royal, Thanks for the ideas. We’ll have our luggage with us and don’t know what we’d do with it. I thought about renting a car, but nobody would be safe on the roads with my DH or me trying to drive on the left!
  6. We’re interested in a fall cruise that ends in Barbados. Unfortunately the earliest flight doesn’t leave until 4pm. Hanging around the airport doesn’t sound like much fun. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. 🙂

  9. I purchased trip insurance (Trip Mate) from Viking when I booked our upcoming cruise. It looks like Viking should provide travel vouchers if I need to cancel for any non-covered reason. I’d like to cancel my trip due to a (non-emergency) family member’s surgery taking place while we’re gone. Right now we would be entitled to a 50% refund; would Viking provide travel vouchers for the remaining 50%? Are the vouchers good towards another cruise including air? Thanks in Advance!
