Feels like we have been on diets forever for this cruise, so a few pounds, in both senses, isn't a deal breaker... 😂

I think they close the bars while muster is on, but I have got there early and got 'supplies' in😁

It sounds like it, we got the email today. At least I will have a gelato filled doughnut to make it more bearable🍩😂

Could you please tell my wife how you manage to travel so light... 😊 Your backpack wouldn't cover half the shoes she 'needs'... Only kidding of course, but it will baffle a lot of people who like to partake in formal nights etc. We were looking at booking a taxi to the port on Friday, but the app wouldn't let us book for 2 people with 4 cases... 🤷 Have a fantastic time. Apparently the smoking area on deck 16 has been removed, leaving the only smoking areas being outside the Live Lounge and Java on deck 7. We don't smoke, but it's a long way down from the pools etc for those that like a quick puff... Andy

Thank you. Yes, 2nd sitting, table for 8 as we are going with family for the first time and all the challenges that come with that... We have a GF vegetarian, 2 smokers and 2 very fussy eaters, so should be fun😂 Andy

Seems like promising news... La Voix has posted and her cabin has been refurbished with new carpets etc. So at least some of the cabins have had some attention, she is on deck 8. Andy

It seems the wonderful La Voix is on board from tomorrow and is going to do a floor by floor vlog showing the changes and will post it on the site that can't be mentioned. Unfortunately this won't tell us much about the cabins though. Andy

Of course, I won't do an in depth report, but will give an overview and happy to answer any questions. Hopefully someone on tomorrows cruise might give us an update. Andy

Our sofa and bed were fine last year, carpets a bit grubby but probably didn't warrant replacing. The balcony furniture was tatty, but I think they replaced a lot of it soon after. I will find out on Friday.. Woo Hoo... Andy

Seems to have been a lot of work in the public areas, let's just hope the cabins got a spruce up, but I'm not holding my breath... Andy

That's a surprise as they had started work on it before the last cruise ended... Must be quite a transformation to take that long, or someone forgot to order the carpet😂 Andy
