Am I correct to assume the WCB also has various wines? I remember when WCB's were new, they served only the menu drinks. Apparently, they now have some limited drinks, wine and beer.

Above is correct. Flights have to be after a certain time and I remember it was 11:30 on our last FLL departure.

Can you recommend a quiet spot for a before dinner drink for those of us not in the Retreat? Looks like there are few indoor bars on this ship. I am hoping Eden bar is a good choice for 5-ish drinks. Looks like the Craft Social is way too small for this big ship. We are not into the Martini Bar at all. Besides, it is always crowded and noisy.

As far as noise from the OVC above Sky Suites, the closer to the entrance area forward of the Sky Suite, the quieter the cabin. The further back you go, the more under the tiled OVC areas and nearer the galley entrance into the OVC where the carts really rattle. We have stayed as far back as 2124 and had no issues. You can barely hear a cart occasionally.

Is the Bistro open for lunch on boarding day? Since we have the Elite Plus 15% discount, we may decide to eat there and avoid the buffet madness on the first day.

Is this area only used for lunch? Is there a bar? Hours? It's so large I assume there must be some other functions.

I have no problem questioning FBC reps on the phone. Much quicker and sometimes price better by calling. You really should shop your flights prior to calling to purchase. That way you have several options. Some may not be aware that you can book different airlines for arrival and departure..Doesn't have to be round trip. I like the delayed payment giving me time to research other options, check prices, etc. and able to make changes before final payment with no penalty.
