We went to Hibachi first and they made all our reservations for all 3 dinners. There was no one else in line, we just walked in and 10 minutes later were all set.

I had a problem with my booking and app because they spelled my name wrong. I went to guest services on the cruise and they corrected the information for me even showed me the computer page to make sure it was correct.

Has anyone done a pre-cruise night in Bologna before their cruise? I am looking for a hotel near the airport so we can take the RCL bus from the airport to Ravenna for the cruise. If you have a recommendation for a hotel close to the airport that has transportation back and forth or is on the airport property would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

Can you recommend a hotel in Bologna near the airport. RCI now runs a shuttle from the airport I believe to the port in Ravenna.

Recommendations for hotels near the Bologna airport? Do they have shuttles to hotels or do you take a taxi?

Just did a round trip for a cruise with Royal. We made our own reservations with Delta and chose their Comfort + seats, well worth the extra charge. There were two of us and since we made our reservations early we got the two seat configuration (2 - 5 - 2) which was easy to get in and out for restroom and walks. We stayed at the Apolo Barcelona by Milea and toured the day we got in. We took the Hop-On Hop-Off bus which was within a short walking distance of the hotel. We ate dinner at the Listo Restaurant near the hotel which was delicious. The breakfast at the hotel was great. Las Ramblas is also within a short walking distance of the hotel. We only stayed one night but should have done two nights so we could have seen more of Barcelona.

I got a recommendation for the Hotel Barcelona Apolo by Melia on Trip Advisor. I did make a reservation, the hotel is about 10 minutes from the port and there is a Hop-On-Hop-Off bus station near the hotel plus a short walk to Los Ramblas. It has a restaurant so we added breakfast to our hotel reservation.

We are sailing October 6th through the 14th in Spain, France, and Italy and are wondering what type of clothing to pack for October weather. We are on Vision of the Seas out of Barcelona.

The Freeplay is based on your points from the cruise you are on, I had over 8000 points on my last cruise and was offered a Junior Suite and $1,000 freeplay if I booked on board with Next Cruise or completed a Next Cruise form and was charged $200 for a Reservation Number. I completed the form and was provided a reservation number in an email within 2 days and had to call the royal Club number within 7 days to receive the free play offer as well as the cruise. I called the Royal Club line on the bottom of the certificate within 7 days. Provided the reservation number and booked a cruise to the Greek Isles and received $1000 freeplay. You have to follow the rules to get the comped cruise and the freeplay, but it does work.

Is it better to fly to Bologna or Venice for a cruise leaving out of Ravenna? I read somewhere that RCI has transfers from both cities to the Port. Any recommendations for a hotel in Bologna or is it better to get a taxi to Ravenna and stay there? We are planning on coming in the day before so would go back to the airport to get the RCI transfer. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Got my email May 24th for cruise May 29th on Liberty. I sent back a reply with a couple of requests and told him what we had already made reservations for. He sent back a quick response and we are good to go.

Do you have to call and request which gift you want for each cruise?

We have been eating lunch in the MDR the last couple of cruises - food is much better then in the WJ.

Are the hot tubs on Deck 11 in the Solarium open late? Has anyone had the Grand Suite 1560 under the hot tub - did you get any noise in your room from it?
