Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We sail on the Explorer end of the month. Will they do anything that encourages people to wear costumes on Halloween?
  2. Nice, I emailed them twice so far requesting a table for 2 anywhere, still no reply. We sail end of this month. Tried again yesterday, maybe I'll get an answer this time
  3. I prepaid for my upcoming cruise this month. I had to call them to do so, no option on the website(at least none I could see)
  4. We sail on the 29th of this month. We got our room assigned about a week ago. I had read about the barcode trick, tried it, got a room number. Six hours later the room showed on our reservation
  5. Unlike CCL no limit. Our 8 night was $72 per person per day. Southern Caribbean. We will get our money's worth. The 15 drink limit on CCL doesn't do me 😂
  6. We booked a GTY balcony on the Explorer sailing end of Oct. 2022. I tried the barcode trick 2 days ago. It showed a bunch of numbers, then after the dash it had 6338. Well next day (yesterday) I checked again and instead of GTY in my booking it said 6338. So I guess the barcode thing works, I'm happy with the room unless someone knows something I don't LOL.
  7. Just started sailing RCL. Only sailed, Mariner, Freedom, and upcoming next month in the Explorer
  8. When you book the dining package and want to tip extra, is it ok to leave cash, or do they prefer you add it as a room charge?
  9. I was on the Divina this past weekend. We went to the private island. There are 4 or 5 beaches open to everyone. All but one was clear of rocks. sunset beach has a lot of rocks, both on the beach and in the water. We spent most of our day on BInibi beach, very few rocks, but there is some, smaller one. I would recommend water shoes.
  10. Just home from weekend cruise on DIvina. We had early dining. Our boarding time was 1.30, but we got on board around 11.45. when we boarded we went to the black crab dining room. The maitre'd was there. We asked what size our table was and he said it was a table of 6, we wanted a table for 2. He told us none available, but he could put us on the wait list and told us to ask for him when we arrived for dinner. We had early dining, 6pm we asked also if anything later was available, we said we could move to a 8.30 time, but that was to late for us, so we stuck with the 6pm. Not after all that we viewed the dinner menu each night and ended up eating the buffet every night. This was our second time sailing MSC, last time was on the Seaside. The selection of food offerings on this cruise was very limited. Food was good, but not very varied.
  11. Thanks for the replies and great help. 😀
  12. Sailing from Port Carnival on MSC, 3 day cruise. Stops are Nassau and Ocean Cay. Is a US passport required?. The person is a US citizen.
  13. Thank you. I wondered why they didn't list the beach time on the excursion page. Guess we will skip this one. Do you happen to know how long the drive is to eagle beach? Would like a few hours then time to explore the town near the port.
  14. Has anyone done the Aruba highlights and beach break excursion? All the web site lists is a time to enjoy the beach. Was wondering if anyone knew how long the beach stop is?
  15. I posted mine from 3 weeks ago under my review tread.
