  1. It's one shot, and on every Princess ship so far, it's been one drink charge. And covered by Plus beverage package (which is included in the Plus Cruise Package). It is a bit time consuming for a bartender to make as they have to slowly pour in order to layer property, but they'll absolutely do it.
  2. You will not see both Pitons from in town. Only Petit Piton. Seashells is casual, beachfront, delicious and beautiful views Petit Peak is waterfront, gorgeous views If you're wanting quicker and casual - you're not going to be getting any views really, but some good options include Big Yard The Dream Container Bar At the beach park, there's a snack bar, Blue Anchor for sandwiches, hot dogs, etc.. Waterfront in town has Mwen Gen, Belle Vieux and KFC. The Dream, Camille's, Skippers, etc all in town, but no views.. Enjoy
  3. Emerald actually has more casual dining than your average Princess ship - 4 venues, versus 2 or 3 on the other ships. Vines Salty Dog Gastropub Planks Steamers Heck, even the brand new Sun only has 2 options!
  4. Yes, all ships have a sport court and assorted sporting equipment including pickleball equipment. There will be dedicated times and also free play times. Check the Daily Event listing for times, etc. (Remains to be seen whether Sun has the same - no reports either way yet .)
  5. Unless you specifically ask - and see - the bartender to charge the drinks separately - they'll generally be charged to one of you, whomever orders You can take both medallions with you to the bar- but usually, the bartenders just ask for your room number - they don't scan the medallions themselves. When ordering drinks via app - each of you order via your own app and that way they'll be allocated correctly. If you order 2 drinks via one app, they'll be charged to that app's count.
  6. Yup. Gives you a count under the package portion - especially handy if traveling with someone else in your cabin as bartenders tend to put both drinks on one account instead of each individual account. (The old app showed it also).
  7. What is not clear for you? We'll try to help..
  8. FYI - that room service menu is woefully out of date Pizza is $8.50usd.and so forth. It changed August 2023. While it gives an idea of the food and drinks options - not all those food items are available, and lots of others now have a cost (outside delivery charge).
  9. Nope, doesn't mean that at all. Guarantee simply means you can be assigned anytime between booking and departure day. While rare for it to be as late as embarkation day - it does occasionally happen (been twice for me, lol). Keep an eye on your booking - you'll get it sometime between now and embarkation day. As noted above, sold out is a relative term
  10. The accessible cabin will help make that happen! Happy sails...
  11. What "new Princess package"? I wasn't aware they'd introduced any new packages. Room Service delivery is $5usd if one uses the stateroom phone to order. If one uses the app, it's a ONE TIME activation fee of $14.99 - and you can then use the app to order room service delivery to virtually anywhere on the ship including your stateroom. Breakfast is free/included if you order via the door hanger card Only those in a full suite ie S category stateroom can order from the MDR during operating hours. Whether the $5 delivery fee is charged should one not have a package is hot or miss. These can't be ordered via the app or for delivery outside the stateroom as they're not programmed into the Ocean Now portion of the app to begin with. If you've purchased the Plus or Premier Cruise Package post Dec 14, 2022 - the $5 fee is waived and Ocean Now activation is included - making room service delivery, whether to Stateroom or around the ship free. Some food items have a charge, such as specialty restaurant items or some regular room service items such as pizza or sushi or steak, etc. Many are complimentary such as sandwiches, burgers, quesadillas, desserts, salads, soup, etc.
  12. With Ocean Now, you can get anything off the ON menu - not anything from the MDR. The MDR menu is not on room service delivery - for those in Suites, ordering from MDR is a perk, and they have to call to do so. You can order a variety of cocktails, some items from specialty restaurants a la carte (when open), and the room service menu - sandwiches pizzas, salads, soup, burgers, etc - some items are complimentary and some incur a few such as steak and fries or pizza or Sushi. The delivery charge is waived for those with Plus or Premier Cruise Package, or a one time Ocean Now activation fee or pay $5 per order if using room telephone.
  13. Lunch with a view in Soufriere - kinda hard to miss, anywhere in the town. Beacon for an outstanding local buffet lunch. Reservation needed Saltfish at Green Fig -reservation recommended Seashells at right on the beachfront in Soufriere Petit Peak Dasheene at Ladera (reservation needed- and usually, non-resident guests do not get front row tables) Mango Tree - reservation recommended Pavilion at Caille Blanc (views across the bay to the Pitons, absolutely breathtaking) reservation recommended Harmony at Paradise Beach at the base of Petit Piton - reservation recommended Hotel Chocolat has a lovely view of the top of Petit Piton, reservation recommended Personally - Seashells on the beach, Pavilion, Saltfish or Beacon would be my choices ..
  14. Keep your accessible cabin. He needs it, it will work better for you and him, etc . You're overthinking. Happy sails.
