  1. As bluemarble mentioned, yes they are on the in cabin tvs and repeated several times a day. We've catched up with all them in the afternoon and when dressing for Dinner to see what we may have missed. If the speaker is someone we missed and liked the first transmission, we will make our way to the next session they may present during the voyage.
  2. The sailing before the last sailing we had ladies coming from a bar with drinks in their hands from visiting a bar before the dining room and sat near us. No question asked.
  3. The only one we experienced with guaranteed cabin was the one on Deck 13 months after the 2016 refit. So nice to have seen the new cabin, shower door instead of curtain and the balcony door was sliding not the typical swing open type. Again a stretch of the legs to the dining room in the aft portion of the ship.
  4. So happy with your decision. May I suggest Deck 12 since Deck 13 does block the forward view with the Bridge blocking the view. We like Deck 12 away from the B Elevators and Pavillon Pool since some of those cabins have a overhang from the Sun Deck. Just a thought if you look at the Port Side photo of the ship and Deck area. We too enjoy the Britannia Club Restaurant and it's intimacy. And the Ala Carte Menu gives you alternate selection. Don't give a second thought that it is at the other end of the ship and 10 deck below. Good reason to walk off the meals....lol
  5. Unfortunately I must disagree with this complete statement. One voyage we were assigned to the Britannia Club Cabin on Deck 13 Forward and on a July sailing we did not feel any movement transiting from NYC, Halifax and Boston. We were pleasantly surprise of the experience and we have sailed in many parts of the ship over close to 20 years. Not all sailings will cause the sense of movement in that area. So sometimes it depends on the location you will be sailing that you will feel it more than other locations. Actually we felt more around Deck 12 near the Pavilion Pool on one particular voyage. We may have just been lucky!
  6. We wrote to a email address that we were given onboard lt time (unfortunately can't share) to ask for information about future voyages. The recent answer received for our next March 25 sailing - "We usually get the insight speakers 6 months out from a voyage. If you would like to email us a little closer to sailing, we would be happy to give it to you." So there is a period of time till they can proper release information about a voyage contents.
  7. Drumbeat 16, Besides as I previously said to you we did Britannia Club but if you can and wish to try Princess Grill, we did also Princess Grill on 10 on a 13 day sailing and enjoyed it. Princess Grill on 10, the cabin was located in the Forward portion of the ship. We never experienced any movement while in the cabin. Actually we enjoyed it very much with the location and cabin features. Again you will enjoy the view from the balcony and even upgraded balcony furniture placed there.
  8. We have never had a problem in the Club Cabins on 12 and once in 13 cabin. It is high on the ship but also mid ship which helps. We also love the views from the Balcony when we have booked the cabin. You will enjoy the QM2 and all it's offers.Once on board you will catch the Cruise Bug!
  9. Agree with @NE John Experience the Pub Lunch, Afternoon Tea and also a Wonderful Stroll on the Deck 7 Promenade Deck looking out on the Vast Blue Ocean. You will once experience the QM2 & catch the Cunard Cruising Bug. The wonderful interior is way different then the NCL vessel. The feel of a Ocean Liner.
  10. They use to have a page announcing for each ship the coming speakers for each sailings. But eliminated it quite some time ago. We don't see them now till viewing them upon boarding.
  11. Our favorite ship, QM2 of the Cunard Line. Has what we would call a Classic Promenade Dreck. 3 Times around equals a Mile. Very well used both Morning thru to Evening.
  12. We sail on the QM2. Early 70's us, Americans and enjoy all the aspects of the Daily Program and Activities Offered on board.
