Spoke to Cunard who have confirmed to me they will not know which port they are using until 21 days before departure. Our TA will keep check and will let us know so we can then decide on hotel 👍

Thanks again , it looks like the voyage that I’m on embarks Tokyo so that would be a result .👍 Doesn’t mention Yokohama like some voyages I looked at just now . Lots of planning to do and will try learn some simple phrases of the Japanese language . We fly into Haneda and booked in the Park hotel in Shiodome

Hi that would be good . I have hotel booked for Tokyo 1 night at the start but thinking of changing this to Yokohama instead as easier after long flight in .

Hi I’m interested in these threads re Japan . We are booked on the QE for April/May24 circumnavigating Japan . First time from UK to Japan and cruise. Is it easy enough travelling with luggage from cruise port into Tokyo after our cruise disembarks . We have 3 days in Tokyo , and understand taxis are expensive . Happy doing trains if easy enough . Thank you for any information . Will be appreciated.

Great report , interesting that no covid test needed on arrival in Brooklyn . Is that still the same as of 3/6/22

We sail 22/6/22 from Hamburg and Cunard said day before . We are booked into a test centre in Hamburg on 21st June

We are also on this crossing and fly into Hamburg on 20th June . Not booked hotel yet but understand only need LFT 24 hrs before observed or PCR 48 hrs. Hopefully will find somewhere to go in Hamburg . The airport I believe have some testing centres but we will need one in town . Any advice appreciated. Thanks .

Cunard told me that once you are on board there is no testing until you reach NY.

In 2017 we disembarked NY but not self disembarked and stayed a night before catching the train to Chicago . No hassle or rush .

Hi. We are embarking on QM2 on 22June from Hamburg but arriving on 20th for 2 nights. Is there anywhere close to the port to get an antigen test done . I believe it has to be observed ? Thought we may stay close to the port in Hafencity. Any other advice appreciated thanks l.
