  1. Happy Fool: I agree with you. 3/12 hours from docking to flight departure does not seem enough time, especially when it takes 45 minutes to get to the airport. NCL booked us on a 10 AM flight s we had thought about taking an NCL transfer. However, I am wondering if a pre-booked taxi would be a better choice than an NCL transfer since you have to wait at the port for the bus to be filled before they leave.
  2. We will be in Ashod in April and plan to visit a friend in Jerusalem. From my research, a bus is the best way for us to get to Jerusalem. However, i have not been able to find some information about the port shuttle. Specifically: - Where does it go? The terminal or the Sea Mall? - What hours is it available - How often does it run? - What, if any, documentation do we need to board it, both leaving the ship and returning.? -If it goes to the terminal, are there taxis there that will take us to the bus station? Thank you for any information you can provide.
  3. It all depends on what you are looking for. If you want a big, new ship with all the new features, tee Pride is not for you. If you want gourmet food and speciality restaurants , again the Pride is not for you. This year, the Pride offered interesting itineraries, at good rates. I was pleased with the service I received. I did not enjoy the food, but still thought I got great value. I hope by next year, they will improve the food at least back to where was last fall and they need to fix the tender situation which was a major issue for an itinerary with 5 tender ports.
  4. Carnival has been very late in posting excursions for the Pride. I am on the July 10th sailing and they only posted excursions for some ports in mid- to late May and they still have no excursions for the one port on the itinerary change they made in late May. Therefore, I assume that they will be posting excursions for your cruise in the nest few months. However, you may want to do as many of us have done and find private ones.
  5. Did you or anyone you knew on the Pride use a proctored home Covid test on the Pride? I was on the Pride last fall and the internet was very poor so I am concerned about relying on it to get Covid test results for returning to the US.
  6. So far, Carnival is not offering tours in any of these ports and I have been unable to find tours. Portree does not seem to have availability. The companies in Greenock do not seem to be offering group tours the day the Pride is in port. And I have not found tours from the new Dublin cruise port. I know I can take public transportation into Glascow and Dublin, but would appreciate any suggestion.
  7. Looking for options to cruiseline transfers. Are there any shuttles or private transfers that cost less than the ship for 2 people?
  8. tracie17 - I too ordered the tests for reentry to the US through Princess for our cruise a few weeks ago. However, I did not need them because Princess offered free testing on the ship for those passengers returning to the US after disembarkation. The cabin steward took swabs the morning before the end of our cruise and printed reports were sent our cabin in the evening.
