Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Like many, I'm sorry to see Lincoln Center go. Last time on Oosterdam, it was SRO every night after first dinner sitting. Most of what they played was really light "classical," but at least they varied their programs. B.B. King, on the other hand, did same songs over and over. Music was a draw to HAL for us. With music choices reduced, I expect DW and I will be drifting more towards Celebrity and Oceania in the future.
  2. Haven't been on an Azamara ship since 2010 but am considering a Med cruise for next year. DW and I are now both rely on canes, sometimes need rollators; don't use wheelchairs. Getting on/off tenders can be challenging. Specifically, does anyone remember how many steps there are from the lowest deck on the ship down to where one steps/hops/jumps onto a tender? Or have a picture? Thanks in advance!
  3. Sad to see such dreary decor in the Atlas bar. When that space was the library it was one of the nicest rooms at sea.
  4. Article has so many grammar and spelling errors that I do not trust it. Does nobody proofread?
  5. My wife and I would like to do a Mediterranean cruise again (we're been going to Europe frequently for 50 years). However, we both now have limited mobility in our mid-70s. We both use canes and sometimes rollators; no wheelchairs or scooters yet. With these new challenges, we're looking at Med ports differently and need advice. Which ones do you consider fairly easy to access with limited mobility? Which ones are difficult? We'd welcome any advice--and thanks in advance!
