Our Airbnb is close to the Borghese, restaurant recommendations in that neighborhood, please?

Not a cult. Generally, kind, loving people who seek to spread positivity. Keeping “religion” out of the topic, but everyone is entitled to call their personal spiritual guide by whatever name/title/description of their choosing. My only concern would be the impact of any large group on venues etc…

Our port time has changed. We are now arriving in Istanbul at 4pm, departing the next day at 1. We have a tour scheduled for the second morning, but are considering what to do on our first evening. Any suggestions for a group of four well traveled women?

For me, Portovenere is magic. It has been dubbed “Where the poets go to die”. I did purchase some great pesto, but can make no restaurant/tour recommendations. I was swept away from the sheer beauty, perhaps a memory from another lifetime.

Portovenere is my favorite town in all of Italy. I revisit in my dreams often.

After 28 days, I am still dragging my feet, clutching the handrails as I am forced to disembark.

I was adopting the wait and see philosophy until I heard about the VAT added on in Europe. Is this true? I typically upgrade prior to the cruise, but with the increased daily charge, considered waiting a day or two onboard. Thanks, Dawn
