I absolutely love to cruise solo. Having cruised many times with someone else, I knew it would be a perfect solo vacation. Be by yourself or chat up and mingle with others ~ it’s your choice. And a cabin all to yourself.

I don’t know for certain this is a new dining time, but I think it may be. If not, sorry to confuse your topic, consider it simple input. I just booked Navigator out of LA for the 5/6-5/10 cruise, and the only time available was the 8pm slot. I thought the former, traditional two dining times were like 6:30 and 8:30.

Gosh, I hope I don't get kicked off Cruise Critic for this topic. It's only meant to open a discussion about changes to the site that may be helpful, and it comes about because I just read a new post that mentions the "search" field and how ineffective it is to find what you're looking for. Did you know the Celebrity board goes back 6329 pages to April 2004? I would not even want to rely on information that's that ancient. Maybe we could come up with some ideas for a more up-to-date Cruise Critic site.

Confirmed ~ no Keno machines, Game King, or multi-choice game machines on Beyond. The Traveling Gamblers posted an extensive video of the casino on Beyond, showing every machine. They also have a video of Apex, which I had not seen prior to being on the ship this week and finding out first-hand there is no Keno in the casino 😢

Completely agree with you. As a devoted Keno player, it’s a major letdown to not enjoy my evenings in the casino. I hope to hear good news from someone with info about the other Edge class ships re Keno in the casino.

I’m on Apex right now. During pre-planning this cruise, although I had Anytime Dining, I had “reserved” dinner the first night in one of the MDRs. After reading these boards, I understood it would truly be anytime dining and to ignore the reservation. Then, when I first got to my cabin, there was a reservation reminder card waiting for me, so I’m back to square one. So then I went to one of the MDRs and confirmed to ignore the card and choose any MDR at any time. Celebrity needs to unconfuse this issue so the right and left hands are on the same page.

Hi, and thank you if you can A my Q. I’m currently on Apex. Love this ship!! My only disappointment is there are no Keno machines, nor Game King or multi-choice game machines with Keno in the casino. Can anybody tell me if there are any Edge class ships that have any of the above machines?

I’m on Apex now, reporting back on Keno machines. 😭😭 No Keno. No Game King machines at all, nor multi-game machines. I was so looking forward to playing Keno 😢 The final sting is I Love this Ship. I do not even mind the infinite veranda. I want to book another Edge class right now, but I must know if I can play Keno on the ship.

I’ve been on dozens of Royal Caribbean cruises, only recently started cruising Celebrity, and when Celebrity announced some months ago that CoCocay would be now included on Celebrity itineraries, there seemed to be a majority of Celebrity cruisers on Cruise Critic who were/are completely against, angry, hostile, upset about the addition of RC’s private island. Having been there, I absolutely love it. Something for everyone at every age for a beach experience.

Please excuse my naivety. I don’t treat myself to a luxurious spa experience very often, and never have while on a Celebrity cruise. I booked a 75-min massage and I’m wondering if I am entitled to enjoy the spa access in any other way since I’ve paid for my entry. How early May I arrive prior to my appt, and is there a spa experience I could indulge in while waiting for my appt time? Please share your tips. Thank you.
