World cruises "follow Summer" more or less. We have never needed heavy gear or boots. Nothing more than a light jacket or maybe a sweater. You start out in the Southern Hemisphere soon after leaving the West coast and it is their Summer. When you cross the equator northerly it is usually well into Spring on the Northern side. Finish nearly into our Summer.
War Rooms are a true highlight. You might be thirsty after so up the steps, walk King Charles Street and through the arch, across the street to the Red Lion Pub. You might be rubbing elbows with MPs or other famous drinkers.....🍺
As WineWineWine linked there are very cheap USB-A to USB-C adapters as well as USBC to USB-A adapters on Amazon. Take up almost no space in a computer bag and you are covered for all options. USB-C is the new one and is the standard demanded in Europe so Apple had to drop their proprietary Lightning connector. Nothing simple these days. Used to buy books at the used book store and watch tv with no remote.....😱
On prior Viking ships we have had USB-A plugs at the bedside. Recently on Neptune we had USB-C plugs. Fortunately I have the C to A adapters and 110vac to USB-C always in my computer bag.
