  1. You have revealed too much. I haven't traveled to that many locations, but the geolocating is fun. I will wait for others to guess.
  2. Clues are in the image make this so that even for a beginner like me can figure it out. I have never been here, but Ålesund, Norway The small ferry in the foreground gives it away.
  3. Back in 2019 I went on two voyages. If you did not print luggage labels online (with their old version of online voyage information), Cunard would mail an information booklet with luggage labels. Do they still do this, or are you now required to print them yourself online? (my printer is printing a little faint) Thanks. I tried searching for the answer, but could not find it.
  4. Yes, MSC Meraviglia is scheduled into Brooklyn on those dates, when M416 was scheduled to end and M417 start 2024-06-16 and M422 was scheduled to end and M423 start 2024-07-28 I am curious what will happen to M417 and M423. They must be starting a day early. [edit] typing at the same time as you BlueMarble
  5. A time lapse of the bridge cam 2018 QV transiting Panama Canal Pacific to Atlantic Timestamps UTC are at the top Full transit appeared to be about 10 hours
  6. Thanks for your video of this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJd2VYoAQuQ Must have been exciting to pass so close
  7. Currently the Queen Mary 2, and Queen Victoria are not very far apart QM2 2023-04-21 10:47 LT (UTC -1) 42.76287°/-9.805139°, 22.5kn, 5° QV1 2023-04-21 10:48 LT (UTC -1) 42.82492°/-9.808817°, 16.2kn, 2° 6.906 km apart
  8. Just to add to the above responses: I fully agree with response #3 above. I did this in August of 2019. I was arriving to Southampton on QE, then leaving on QM2 four days later. I was waiting for some notice to appear in the daily program about this, but I should have gone to the Purser's desk earlier in the trip. The cost was $65 per suitcase (which was billed on the first trip, you could use OBC). I believe I received a form to fill out, along with special color luggage tags. When disembarking, I was required to go to the area where the bags were, just to verify my bags were in the group (which they were). The next time I saw the bags was in my cabin when I boarded QM2 four days later. I would definitely do this again. BTW it was called transfer, not storage
  9. I have an upcoming trip on the QM2 this summer. Is there a place that I can verify "Do not upgrade" has been checked/ticked? This is a US booking. I made it directly with Cunard, and it has been changed multiple times, directly through Cunard. I can't find this mentioned on the my.cunard.com US site. Is it in a place that I am missing? I guess the other option is to call Cunard again, and talk to a person. Thanks
  10. Also view from StreamTime Live New York Harbor webcam You can scroll back only 12 hours now. QV passes under the bridge at around 5:37
  11. Seems like QV may be heading toward St. John's NF Canada. Possibly for a medical evacuation (complete conjecture on my part). Check it out on MarineTraffic.com
  12. A little late, but a webcam showing QM2 departing Rotterdam. (Can rewind 12 hours) Screenshot of Now (2022-12-12 19:50 UTC) - 4:54 now - 1:37 pulling away Thankyou to Youtube channel "Open Up to Rotterdam"
  13. So... getting back to the OP question about length of daylight on a TA: I have added the time between sunrise and sunset within parentheses. Here is the information from a TA Westbound TA in the summer 2019 Sunrise/Sunset as listed in the daily program 2019-08-11 sunrise 05:46 sunset 20:34 (14:48) set clocks back 1 hour 2019-08-12 sunrise 05:03 sunset 20:08 (15:05) set clocks back 1 hour 2019-08-13 sunrise 04:52 sunset 19:58 (15:06) 2019-08-14 sunrise 04:41 sunset 19:45 (15:04) set clocks back 1 hour 2019-08-15 sunrise 05:35 sunset 20:26 (14:51) 2019-08-16 sunrise 06:28 sunset 21:03 (14:35) set clocks back 1 hour 2019-08-17 sunrise 06:08 sunset 20:26 (14:18) set clocks back 1 hour 2019-08-18 ? no daily program on disembarkation day
  14. Screenshot of QM2 Arriving in NYC early 2022-09-23, doing the turnaround with Statue of Liberty in view. Check out the StreamTime Live Youtube live webstream within 24 hours of arrival and you can rewind to the arrival. A nice way to enjoy a morning cup of coffee on a morning when QM2 arrives. Thanks to StreamTime Live and the Waterfront Museum for the stream.
