Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Reserve Cabana Mini Suites are located on Deck 9 and get access to the Cabana areas located on the same deck (effectively a private area with loungers and hot tubs). These guests also get access to the Reserve Collection restaurant.
  2. What an overblown response to what was a pretty accurate and respectful post.
  3. Why are people so insistent on spelling "dining" incorrectly?
  4. Already being discussed in both the Sun Princess thread plus the one created for the original inaugural's cancellation.
  5. I'm booked on the Sun's April 8th cruise and have had my guaranteed cabin assigned for a month or so. IMO the example you're citing is just a late-ish allocation of a room rather than being indicative of anything about the ship's entry into service.
  6. Are you telling me you don’t have a card tied to your bank account, so that you can withdraw or deposit money? If you do, guess what, you have a debit card. What a ridiculous statement and generalisation. Having a debit card isn’t indicative in any way of someone’s ability to hold and maintain a credit card account.
  7. I'm interested to know this as well. First time sailing Princess since they've had the Medallions, all of my check-in info has a green tick and I have selected the free lanyards for our Medallions. However, the Medallion section still has the orange exclamation next to it. But when I go into it, it shows the order for the lanyards. Now I'm thinking it's simply because the Medallion won't be sent to me beforehand?
  8. I was on a Disney cruise out of NYC back in 2016, when they did sailings that included a stop at Port Canaveral with included tickets and transfers to Disney World. Similar situation on the way back to the port at around 8pm, a horror car and motorcycle accident and there was literally no way to get around it (sadly also a fatality). Because the day at Disney was the main draw for the cruise, we were "lucky" in that 99% of the guests were caught up in the delay, including many of the crew. One of my memories is of the cruise director standing on the side of the motorway looking at all the stopped buses. We ended up back on the ship at about 1.30am. If it wasn't such a unique circumstance I have no doubt we would have been left behind and that would have ended the cruise (next port was NYC for debarkation).
  9. Sadly I have to agree. I'm booked in a Reserve Cabana for 04/08 and it just doesn't look as inviting as the mockups, which made the cabana portion of the room seem rather bright and airy. It's ended up as just another room tacked onto the end.
  10. Yep, the Wonder has the Twist 'N Spout in the Aqualab area, more of a kiddies water slide compared to the other ships. The Magic also has the Twist 'N Spout in addition to the Aqua Dunk. The Wish will have the Aqua Mouse, which is going to be a bit of a mashup between the Aqua Duck on the Dream/Fantasy and a Disneyland-esque dark ride.
