On CruiseMapper and NCL, they both say departing at 3 pm, if you look at the carnival ship, same day, it leaves at 5 pm.

I got a check-in time at 9 am, and I’m trying to figure out what time the boarding time is? The ship it leaves at 3 pm, on NCL’s website, it says everybody must be on board 2 hours prior to the departing. i’ve only travelled on carnival boarding starts about 11am out of long beach. The carnival departs at 5 pm.

I have a cruise in May on the Encore and I upgraded to 3 special dining for four night cruise. I cannot figure out which ones I want to do, any suggestions would be helpful. this is the first time I’ve ever cruised on NCL and I’m going alone. i’ve cruise seven times on carnival and I usually do all the specialty dinings on the cruise. I am not a big seafood eater.

This is the first time I have cruise on ncl. I just booked on encore for a repositioning cruise in may out of Los Angeles to Vancouver. I try doing reservations for the steakhouse and all the reservations are for 8:30 to 9:00 I usually eat around 5 to 6 pm. I am traveling solo is there anyway I can get dinner reservations for around 5:30 or 6 pm? We have only one port of call, and that is Thursday in Vancouver with an overnight stay.

I would go to the grocery store and get some carnival gift cards. Second best one to get would be MasterCard or Visa gift cards.

I think the celebration all the reviews said that the Internet was fast.

Every time I’ve gone, it’s been four of us, so we bring 4 12 packs of soda and I bungee cord it to my carrier bag.

I live in the Los Angeles area. I’ve done 3 4day cruises out of Long Beach and 7 day and my next cruise is seven day cruise in May out of Long Beach. I would recommend you looking into the seven day cruise on the panorama. There is more things for the kids to do on that ship, then on the other two ships. Catalina island is a nice place to stop at to get a nice lunch. Walk around the beach area. Do a little bit shopping or rent a golf cart and drive around the island. Ensenada is my least favourite port I’ve ever been to and I do not like the Bahamas that much either.Between a four day or a five day cruise or a seven day cruise, I would pick the seven day cruise over the five day cruise. my kids were seven and eight. The first time they went on the cruise and we did a four day out of Long Beach on the inspiration. they spent most of the time in club ocean. my two boys are now turning 13 and 15, so really the ship that we go on is not as important as it was when they were younger. they just hang around with the other teenagers of their age group in the older kids clubs.

On my cruise in October 2021 on the Mardi Gras our cabin was on deck 10 starboard side. On port days we were docked on the starboard side. every one on the dock can see your balcony.

My kids are about the age of your kids, 13 and 15 we did the family harbour last year, and I found that it was not worth it for the age group that my kids are. The family harbour is geared toward younger children, not older. The PlayStation and Xbox in the family harbour is monitored by an employee from camp ocean for certain times of the day. No one really played it. we are going on a cruise in May on the panorama and I just got a regular balcony this time.

If you don’t have young children, I do not recommend the family Harbor section on the panorama. I did the panorama with my kids the first year it was running, but now my kids are too old to benefit from any of the offerings that family harbor offers so I’m just getting a regular balcony cabin.

I live in LA and I drive for a living. Saturday morning is usually pretty decent on the 405 freeway to the 710 to the port exit. Give yourself an extra hour to get to the port it bottlenecks real badly. last time I was at the port dropping off a friend for the panorama. It took 30 minutes to drop my friend off at the terminal once you got in line for vehicles.
