Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Agree. We stay in CL suites as well and pretty much eat in CK or fee restaurants. We avoid MDR and Windjammer like the plague.
  2. True. The one at Annapolis Mall is long gone and the ones in FedEx Field, home to the soon-to-be-NFL champs Commanders 🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡 don’t have chili fries😩😩😩
  3. I started sailing RCCL in 2001. I joined CC in 2006 I think, I’m not on CC much, but I do remember seeing you here in the past. It’s regulars like you and me that Royal is driving away with their service cuts, price hikes, and fuzzy math. I see very few mega CC posters here anymore. Sad. I’m booked on Oasis in Dec (we first sailed her in 2010) and there will be several 1st time cruisers with us. After reading this thread I am really fearful that I’ll be hanging my head in shame and apologizing a lot. Although I now book suites only and am D+ and I get more “freebies”/access than non-suite guests, I fear my cruising every year days are over. I haven’t booked for 2024 and am considering a European land-based trip with a few of my “I hate to cruise” friends next year. Going to watch my Commanders play in New Orleans in 2024 also which will affect my cruise decision as well. Won’t be any food complaints about charbroiled oysters in New Orleans, that’s for sure!
  4. Awesome, will do. I always learn so much here. Thank you!
  5. I had no idea there is such a board here -- as I'm rarely on this site. THANKS!!!
  6. Can anyone recommend a shuttle service with a vehicle large enough to accommodate 8-10 people with up to 2 bags per person to pick up from FLL (Jet Blue and one stop at SW terminal) to W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale pre cruise? I've already checked out Super Shuttle (won't make the extra stop) and Uber. Many thanks!
  7. Hope you all have a wonderful time. So nice.
  8. Oh no. We're on Oasis out of Port of Miami in December. I'm nervous. Most of us are in suites and are D+, but a few who are going with us and don't cruise will be clueless. I'll probably stay behind with them and board with the non-suites then. Err! 😬
  9. I haven’t yet searched RCCL’s site for the info and I trust the info here because there is a ton of knowledge here. I’m Considering an Ocean View Panoramic suite on Icon and am wondering if this cabin will allow me all-day access to Coastal Kitchen and full access to all of the suite areas. I’m also D+ but I’m guessing point status is no longer king as far as access is concerned. Thanks so much all and Happy Sailing!
