    New website.

    Check with your TA or call them if you booked direct.Our TA got our boarding passes. She said don’t go on the website. Too many issues. Her contact had to work to get ours. So many issues. They kept saying we owed money. Of course Azamara blamed it on the transition. We didn’t buy that at all. We had paid in full and booked all excursions before the break. Azamara blew it. Just hoping we can fix some of the excursion issues still ongoing when we board. Wasn’t planning on spending our first days getting that straightened out. Plan on enjoying ourself afterwards though. The plan of their system being okay by end of May then end of June has failed.

    First Azamara cruise and as I wrote before will be the last one. We did not pay good money to be stressed out. Four emails with three email responses from them (took two weeks each time to get them) that all is fixed. It is not. Spent time on hold four days in a row. Finally after ninety minutes someone answered. I explained my main issue is a big balance showing . They said you didn’t pay for your excursion. I said it was paid four months ago way before the website change. We have the confirmation email from Azamara and our credit card statement showing the charge. The representative kept saying you owe the money. He then blamed the website change. I said this was months before. I kept saying no we do not. I told him DH and I dont need this stress. No apologies. Nothing. Wasn’t rude but didn’t seem to care. Finally said he would escalate to a supervisor. Expect to have to call again next week. I do not want to spend hours online when we board arguing with the excursion people. So this special cruise is not so special. Azamara won’t give us anything for their mistakes. At this point we just want they promised and what we paid for.

    How do they know who is less or more than 30 days when you call? I was on hold today for three hours before giving up. I did not have the choice to leave my number. So frustrating. It is our first cruise with Azamara. Looks like our last one too.

    OBC?

    So per the email from President Carol just now it doesn’t matter if you have OBC you cannot use it online. You have to call. That only works if they answer or call you back. What a joke.

    And another email from Carol to clarify her other email. Azamara has become a joke to us. We can only hope the onboard experience will be better. At least she admits you can’t use the OBC to book excursions now on the website. You have to call. That is another joke.

    Got the email from the Azamara president this morning. Just now got an answer to our fourth request for them to fix the issues with our account. First page account shows paid in full. Second page shows we still owe almost $700. We are paid in full. OBC is wrong but not worried about that as long as they don’t cancel the excursions we booked with them. First Azamara cruise so not amazed by Azamara so far. The email just now says they appreciate our patience and hope to have it resolved by the end of May. Guess nobody told Carol.
  7. Our TA agent noted DH and I were both celebrating our birthdays on our reservations. Fourth day into the cruise the waiters brought a cake for husband for his birthday and sang happy birthday. When they were done, I asked what happened about my birthday. So they put the cake in front of me with another candle and sang happy birthday to me. I didn’t need another cake but was surprised they didn’t know about me. Nice chocolate cake. If you really need a celebration, you make sure it is done. Don’t assume you will get something.
  8. We did select dining on the Summit this month. We had reservations each night for 5:45. If we wanted to eat at that time, we had to line up at 5 each night. We thought reservations would be better. If you have traditional dining as a choice, I would grab that. Then you can just walk right to your table. They finally gave us the same table each night but we still had to check in.
  9. They provide big bottles of body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. We brought our own and glad we did after we tried the shampoo and conditioner.
  10. Just did the 9 night on the Summit. We had lobster tails and they were enormous and very tasty. Not what we had expected. It was at the end of the cruise. The app will show you what night.
  11. Registered for the party from Summit last week. No connection party scheduled.. They are not doing them on board yet. Even though I received an email confirming my registration and we were over 25 people.
  12. If the straws were from straw fish then we thank you. We just were on the Summit. The straws were wonderful and biodegradable.I have a sensitivity issue so need to use straws.
  13. Had the classic package. Usually all drinks over $9 you just pay the difference. The vitamin water would be charged the full charge as would the specialty waters. We just took the water that came in the metal bottles that came with the classic package.
  14. The link is open but they haven’t started the connection gatherings. We just were on the Summit. They had no information for us.
  15. Just was on Summit for 9 days. We had the ice cream in the dining room and buffet. Almost seemed like soft ice cream. Different choices each day. Went on last day for our free scoop of gelato. The server said you get two scoops for the price. I told her we just wanted our free scoop. The cost of the regular cup is $4.50. The receipt showed the charge then the loyalty discount for no charge. We did give her a tip since she was so nice. The gelato was good but I wouldn’t pay for it when there is the free ice cream to have.
