As has been mentioned, KDam is going to the Caribbean for a drydock, and the winter Caribbean season. There is no evidence it is being permanently removed, or that some other Pinnacle class ship wouldn't be assigned here. I don't have any sales figures on how full the ship sails. Does anyone?

You have asked this several times. We have told you Konningdam will be returning to the West Coast...the sailing date is April 10th 2026...its in the HAL schedule on the website.

As mentioned here frequently, you need to be all over the ship during your transit. Be on the bow (if available) for a locking. Be on the Promenade deck for a locking. Your aft cabin is also a good place to be, but I am not sure I would pay 25% more.

Our experience as well, in 4 cruises now with HIA. HIA money carried over to the next excursions we booked.

Get a villa on HMC. Fun splurge for a group like yours.

All of this would depend on the nights that are dressy nights. So, if the dressy nights are not the second night and the next to last night, that would move the nights you are asking about.

They will be aware a ship is docking at Pier 80, and will be available. Its about knowing where the demand is. Same for taxis.

The Deck 6 cabins and the aft wrap Neptunes are SBs and SCs, (as opposed to the SAs on Deck 7) so will be cheaper. However, the cabin size on the aft wraps can be a bit smaller. The Neptunes midship on both Deck 6 and 7 are all the same size. We have two SCs booked on N. Amsterdam for next year, and have stayed in the Deck 6 SBs before.

Ooops...my mistake. I don't know anything about Virgin. We use Holland America, and have a 21 day Med cruise booed for 2025. They meet the needs we have, it will be our second Med cruise on HAL.

Viking is definitely not more of a "Caribbean" cruise line. In fact, my niece and nephew is about to do a Med cruise involving an extended Egypt pre-cruise visit. Focus on the ports you want to visit and the time spent in each. Europe has a lot of long tours and excursions...you need plenty of time in each port.

Take the ship's transfers. More expensive, but it will be a bus, and won't require child seats.
