Hope you get everything sorted out soon. The Muslim holiday..... It is Eid ul Fitre. They fast for 30 days from sun up to sun down. The month ends to the Eid day of festivities. Similar to but not same like Lent. It is one of their biggest holiday/festival. It is not unusual for them or anyone to stay closed on their holiday.

@ReneeFLL Very nice pictures! Did you feel that Virgin was more to your taste/liking than Royal or Celebrity? I have seen you tube videos and I feel it may not be for me, but cannot say for sure till I try it! May I say a bit too raunchy? What did you feel overall?

We have frameless in one bathroom. Didn't have a choice. I find it easier to clean and our shower floor sinks in a couple inches.

😱 OMG $1400!!!!!

We have stayed at the Westin in Long Beach. Long long time ago. There was a bus/shuttle across the road that took you to other places. I also remember walking everywhere. And have also stayed at Crown Plaza in San Pedro. It was OK hotel for a night. Quite walkable to restaurants across. Would have picked the DT but read that it is a bit remote and would need a car. I don't know if it has been developed more now. We were there in 2016.
