  1. This happens when your agent,or the agency they work for has you booked into a "circle" (group booking) https://www.virginvoyages.com/firstmatesahoy/latestnews/circles-group-bookings
  2. Information = money. That's why I never take a survey unless they pay me.
  3. You can bring 2 bottles of wine onboard when you first embark. Any bottles brought on in other ports will be collected upon re-boarding and delivered to your cabin on the last night of your cruise.
  4. We try to cruise once every 200 days, usually late Feb-early April, and then again in October-November
  5. If Virgin is saying it's your agent's fault, you should be asking your agent why this happened.
  6. Time to talk to your agent, and have them deal with it.
  7. No, but the lines are nowhere nearly as long as those at the MDR on other cruise lines, and they move fairly quickly.
  8. If you booked with a travel agent, call them and see if they can book some dining for you.
  9. You should have been on the Delta flight from ATL to San Juan today. Sir Richard came on board and gave everyone a free cruise on the Resilient when she starts sailing out of San Juan later this year.
  10. I believe only a certain level of agent gets the extra $100 per booking. Maybe your agent lost their status.
  11. Is that why they keep winning so many awards?
  12. They may consider this sailing to be "at capacity" and not offer it for sale anymore, but it's definitely sailing as planned.
  13. Let's face it. If they had done well in Australia, they would find a way to go back, but now in San Juan they can sell cabins for $3K instead of $600. They can't give the product away anymore.
