Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. It’s the time that you have to wait (minutes) for Princess customer service to answer your phone call.😊
  2. This site is great! It has all kinds of valuable information: https://www.cruisemapper.com/login
  3. I kind of have mixed feelings about this. We’re cruising Mexico in January. We’re going “whole hog” this time. We’ve got a nice suite (aft corner) and the whole Megillah. Our first time in a suite after 20 years of cruising. Don’t tell anybody but I’ ll turn 80, midweek of our cruise. I am so happy, appreciative, thankful! This cruise is very special for my wife and I. I really want to tell the world but I’m a very private person too who doesn't like to draw attention to himself. So we’ll try to stay beneath the radar. Don’t tell anyone. Rick
  4. I’ve been trying to access my Princess Medallion “get ready for travel” for months and I keep getting a red colored type stating “ something must have gone wrong, please try later.” My Medallion will open up and allow me to access, but I cannot acess any of the information or ordering a medallion. I called Princess once because first I was unable to open it all, talked to a nice lady, after connecting fairly quickly, she managed to get it to open for me, she eventually told me to call again in 3-5 days. I”ve given up. It’s a frustrating pain in the rear! We’ll just show up on boarding day with the necessary documents and hope for the best.
  5. Griff, Our last cruise was in R-732 on the Discovery. A DD identical to 734. The cabin was very roomy and the balcony was spacious. Great view of the wake. But it had no shade when the sun was high in the sky.

  8. I have to agree with Wishing on a star. I have ordered prime rib many times on embarkation night and (as I recall) it had always been delicious. They served it later in the week and the quality had been not so good, too much fat or grizzle and usually under done. The Coral had a streak several years ago where the MDR food was consistently excellent for approx 3-5 consecutive years. I don’t recall that time span now. The Coral has always been one of our favorites. Love that forward buffet!
  9. Cruise Queen it’s on CBS, channel 2 here in Los Angeles, Weds. at 9 pm. Rick
  10. Simply said, CCL Is crushed by current debt, $35 Billion. They won’t get any relief or bailouts because they are registered in Panama to avoid taxes and U S regulations. They are underwater and slowly sinking financially.Their future looks murky at best. To get some needed cash, they are contemplating a sale of their Seabourne Lines to some Saudi entity.
  11. Make that a “wine and cheese whiz cruise line.”
