With layovers our travel time alone will be11 hours with a 2 hour drive from the airport to home. So, yeah we need to get off the ship ASAP.

After an Alaskan cruise what is the earliest flight time out of Seattle you would reccommend. I know lines can be long, the ship can be delayed, etc, etc. Thinking about at 10:20, is that too early?

Thank you! I remember when the cabins would get so cold my camera lens would fog up when I went out on the balcony with it. Looks like we'll be sticking to all inclusive land vacations.

We haven't cruised in several years because the cabins temps were too hot for us. We're considering trying it again, but would like to know if the situation has improved. We prefer to keep the temp between 65° & 68°. We always book a balcony room & keep the curtains closed to try & help keep it cool but it didn't help. Please don't respond with "ITS SUBJECTIVE". So any hot blooded cruisers please let us know if we'd be comfortable. Thanks in advance!

We haven't cruises with Carnival in a while because we couldn't get our cabin cool enough to sleep. We resorted to sleeping on the Serenity Deck one night. We were told by our room steward & maintenance it was due to people propping their balcony doors open. While that may be part of the cause, I think there are other factors. I remember when the cabins were so cold my camera lens would fog up when I went on the balcony to take photos. I dont think propping balcony doors open is a new thing. I think its some cost saving adjustment Carmival made.

I'd love to see her in a cabin on the 10th floor in the Caribbean in June with the cabin temp at 78° for a miserable 7 days & be told "it's within acceptable range". Let's see how she would enjoy having to sleep on the serenity deck because it's cooler than your cabin,
