Nice tip! Gave this a go for my sailing and there’s no balcony cabins left at all for 1/2/3/4 people! Guess it’ll be a busy cruise!

Not much recent activity on this thread but wanted to share my first ever successful experience of RoyalUp. Booked an interior mid ship deck 6 stateroom on Harmony sailing July 2023. RoyalUp opened just over a month before sailing and I put bids on most categories from Oceanview Balcony down to Spacious Interior. A little over 3 weeks prior to sailing, I received the success message and reissued booking confirmation. My “weak” bid of £255pp for an oceanview balcony was accepted! Very happy with the cabin location too - mid ship, mid deck. I have no idea how this happened - the sailing is virtually full with only one OV balcony for sale at more than 3 times the price I paid. Pleasantly surprised to say the least!

Did you find Barcelona yet? Celebrity posted a clue on their Twitter. I managed to find it pretty quickly after reading that! ”This X is camouflaged in Barcelona’s gateway for travellers who arrive by sea.” I have one left - Florence - and it’s driving me nuts! Literally spent hours scouring every cm of this image but I must be blind! The Celebrity’s Twitter clue has sent me to Piazzale Michelangelo area but I still can’t find it! 🥵

On Brilliance OTS now and they’ve changed the steam/sauna to a “thermal suite” that you need to pay for to access Not sure exactly how they enforce this as they are still accessed via the men’s locker room which is open to all. Very disappointing.

Thanks for your fantastic review so far. Following as I’m on Brilliance in August doing the same itinerary as you! Did you manage to find out how busy the ship is for your sailing? Regarding your question on tips, I think it’s good practice on cruises to give additional tips to those on board who have helped make your holiday special - usually your cabin attendant, concierge, wait staff, favourite barman/woman etc. As a Brit, the practice of giving tips on top of tips is foreign to me but given how hard these guys work and the fact they were unable to work throughout covid, I’ll be more than happy to pass on a few extra dollars.

I’ll be so sad when you get off the ship as I’m loving reading your report and I don’t want your cruise to end! Your posts are fabulous and I can’t believe English isn’t your first language! I’m on Wonder in just under 2 weeks and reading your posts is making me so pumped up for it! Question for you: How much are those cute cuddly octopi in Sugar Beach? I want one!!
