  1. I noticed that so I was surprised when his 2024 schedule came out that he’s bouncing around. Magic, Dream, Legend.
  2. You generally see them start out on Conquest class ships or older. But they can move up fast these days with new ships high CD turnover. There are some exceptions. Keegan is taking over on Breeze this weekend and Paully Horizon next month. But the other new ones are like…Elizabeth - Freedom, Gabby - Glory, Gary - Liberty, Lia - Miracle, Amber - Paradise, Michael - Radiance. Then there are some experienced ones that I guess choose to stay on older ships. Like Simon London on Splendor. I’m assuming he wants to be in Australia. I have heard in a Q&A…i think it was Kyndall’s …that the shorter cruises can be more challenging because embarkation/debarkation days are crazy and you have 2-3 of those a week.
  3. They’re all over. I’ve used them in L.A., London, Barcelona, Lisbon, and Malaga. I’ve booked a couple others that called themselves a hop on hop off bus but they weren’t really like that. They were one-time round-trip tours. The “hoho bus” I did in Grand Turk ended up being a car since I was the only one who booked it that day.
  4. Book early saver or any rate that has price protection and you can take the price drop.
  5. I did it on magic last year. https://www.saintgregtravel.com/chefs-table-on-carnival-magic/
  6. It didn’t have much meat at all. This is from spirit in February This was Glory two years ago.
  7. Are they doing the new debarkation process on Horizon? I didn’t think they had rolled it out to all ships yet. But if they did that’s good. That means they probably fixed the duplicate tag issue.
  8. I would rather be in Ocho Rios. I did the Dunn's River Falls tour from Montego and it was a long, long bus ride. It seemed like a lot of the excursions were in Ocho Rios. It may depend on what you want to do. If you just want to do the hip strip and Margaritaville, Montego may be a good option. But overall I think you're better off in Ocho. I haven't been on any of those ships but I've been on all of those ship classes and it would be Horizon by a wide margin for me.
  9. Or we could have Tim Robbins on the board. You never know....
  10. I don't like the pizza. But sometimes it's all they have. I've been able to avoid it for the most part by eating a later dinner. I did just get a reuben from the deli on Spirit in February and it's not the same reuben I got a couple years ago. It depends on the ship. Excel class has great food options. Freedom probably not so great.
  11. Asking the wrong person. I'm not the one who said I know what sewage tastes like.
  12. How do you know what sewage tastes like?
  13. It was $7.75 in the night club on Spirit in February
  14. I was just working on updating my New Orleans parking page and I want to make sure I correct myself here. Apparently this is wrong. The Julia Street terminal no longer uses the Whale Lot. They are using one of the Hilton garages now and shuttling people to the port. I'm guessing this is a recent development due to the security issues with the whale lot. In my opinion it's even more of a reason to use Fulton. The convenience of walking to your car is gone and it still costs more than Fulton. PLEASE NOTE, THE HILTON “WHALE LOT” IS NO LONGER BEING UTILIZED BY THE PORT FOR CRUISE PASSENGERS. Parking is available at the 100 Poydras Garage, located at 100 Poydras St. New Orleans, LA 70130. The 100 Poydras Garage opens at 9:00am (CST) and has over 500 covered and secured parking spaces. Parking rates: $25 per day without reservations and $25 per day plus $1/per day fee for reservations. Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean parking reservations can be made here. Please come directly to the 100 Poydras Garage, as a shuttle will be available to take all cruise passengers and their luggage to the Julia St. Cruise Terminal. Please have your boarding information available. You must show it to the parking attendant to enter the facility. Maximum height is 6' 4" and maximum 22 feet in length. Garage is secured, lighted and patrolled. https://portnola.com/cruise/parking-directions
